“Lovely, peaceful and private villa”

This was a lovely, well-stocked villa in a quiet but convenient area close to shops and attractions. We enjoyed the good-sized pool and were happy and comfortable here. Would come again.

we had a great time and all of the servixces provided through expedia were excellent. we found the accomodation to be first class and the flights/times etc were very good

The villa was fab, much better than we had expected. Very clean but the pool was like ice. Recommend paying the extra for the pool heating. Only big downside is that we returned on the 14 April 2010 and have still not received our deposit refund! Have emailed but no reply so will now chase but should not have to do this as was advised refund would be credited 14 business days after we checked out! Very disappointing. The area is nice and quiet.

The staff were more than helpful, from start to finish. The pool home was in a nice quiet neighbourhood within 25 mins of all attractions, perfect for a family holiday. Already thinking about going back next year.

“Family Vacation to Orlando - Don't fly with United Airlines and don't book your car with 'Dollar' !”

My family and I have just returned from 2 weeks in Kissimmee, Orlando. We booked 'the package' through Expedia. We flew with United Airlines and there is a reason why they officially have been voted 'The worst Airlines in America'. It was very poor. The stewardesses were rude and it was almost as if it was an 'inconvenience' that we were on board. Worst flight ever! We had hired a car through 'Dollar' and already paid for an upgrade, from home, as we wanted a convertible. When picking up the car they tried to sell us additional insurance we didnt need, emergency assistance (we didnt need) and charge us an extra $580!!! When I declined the sales representative got angry with me (as it was 'lost' commission' for her) and was extremely rude. So word of warning - DOUBLE CHECK the screen before you sign anything, they have your card details and they will charge you!!! Once we did get the car it was a brand new Mustang convertible and it was amazing but we did not, at any point, require any of the additional cover they had try to sell us. We had hired a villa through 'Advantage Vacation Homes' and prior to leaving the UK the team at 'Advantage Vacation Homes' could not have been more helpful. I emailed them direct and pre-booked the villa we liked the most (3116). Huge villa. Not very clean though. Not well equipped in the kitchen. Main door not very secure. Complained but nothing was done about it. Villa 10 min away from parks. All in all, good. Not luxurious!

“Good location but villa needed re-decorating though”

We paid for a 3 bedroom pool villa located upon arrival. We got exactly that. Great location but would have to say the villa needed decorating and a bit of general maintenance. Everything worked fine - great dishwasher and Washing Machine. The pool was a perfect size but was rather unclean - lots of spiders' webs and dead insects inside the cage netting. The pool was very private and we overlooked fields and a lake which was beautiful. Air conditioning was spot on too. I sound hard to please reading this review but in the past we have always had newer or recently updated villas when booking through other agencies so maybe that is where any disappointment lay.

“Could do better”

The villa was perfect in terms of size for a familiy of four but would easily take six. Location is perfect for Disney etc being 10 miles door to door. Mixture of shops & restaurants on the surounding roads. However, it's been a long time since it's seen a lick of paint and therefore felt very used and to be frank a bit dirty. Paint the walls and mend a couple of draws etc and this would be a perfect place to stay. The pool was slightly in the shade due to surrounding trees and although was surrended by mesh, a lot of debris from the trees made it's way into the pool. We were promised that the pool was cleaned on a weekly basis and that we would be supplied with a net to clean it ourselves if the need arose. However no one ever came to clean the pool and the net was missing so we had to do what we could and then make do. In conclusion, i totally appreciate that these homes are used throughout the year but it's nice to be away from home and not be in a property that just feels over used. If we were looking for that we'd have chosen to stay in a hotel!
