“Great if you have a car”

My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel in June 2011. We found it to be a new, modern designed establishment with very helpful staff, some of whom could speak a little english. Our room was very nice and clean with eveything in it working. We had a very good and reasonably priced evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Surprisingly we were its only customers that evening. The only problem for us was we did not have a car and the hotel is situated up in the hills on the outskirts of Ourence. Well away from the old quarter, shops and tourist attractions. It is at the end of a bus route which ran fairly frequently, from a bus stop approx. one hundred yards from the hotel. The bus fares themselves being laughingly cheap. It did mean we had to use taxis a couple of times late in the evening, but these again were cheap by UK standards. If you have your own car this is an excellent place to stay in Ourence.
