“Deserves its four stars”

so much more enjoyable and luxurious then a usual 3 star experience. Comfortable and pleasing on the eye. Food perhaps not of the highest quality but reasonable for the price

“Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel ...”

... im Grünen und doch zentrumsnah. Dazu sehr aufmerksame Mitarbeiter und ein hervorragendes Frühstück, was man bei schönem Wetter auch auf der Terasse geniessen kann. Wir werden wiederkommen.

“Fast direkt am "Ursprung" von Chemnitz gelegen”

in unmittelbarer Nähe liegt der "Kern" oder "Ursprung" der Stadt mit den ältesten Häusern von Chemnitz. Sonst ist die Innenstadt ja erst im Krieg zerstört wurden und dann vom Sozialismus komplett anders wieder aufgebaut und nach der Wende erneut abgerissen.... DIe Lage ist gut, es gibt viel zu sehen und zu unternehmen, man kann gar in die Innenstadt laufen, wenn man will! Und das Hotel ist super, leider hatten wir ohne Frühstück gebucht, was aber echt der Hammer wäre, abgesehen von 13,- € pro Person! Das würde sich schon lohnen. Aber es gibt Wellnessbereich mit Pool und Saunen und "Sportscenter" for free! Das lohnt sich. Alles in allem: immer wieder gern gesehen und bestimmt auch wiedermal besucht, wir sind ja öfters in dieser Stadt!

“Das penta-hotel in Chemnitz liegt in der Nähe eines Stadtwalds (Küchwald) und der Schlossanlage.”

Sehen Sie die "Bewertung" und "Reiseerfahrungen. Für die Sprtlergruppe, Teilnehmer an den Deutschen Meisterschaften der Master Allround 2011 im Eisschnelllauf ist die örtliche Lage optimal, weil die Erreichbarkeit der Eisschnelllaufbahn (400-m-Standardbahn) sowohl zu Fuß, wie auch mit dem Kfz gut ist. Die Lage abseits der Haupverkehrs-adern (Ausfallstraßen) gewährleistet eine schnelle Regenration nach strapaziösen Wettkämpfen. Diese Zielstellung wird durch die Hotelangebote unterstützt. Das check-out wurde auf Wunsch verlängert, um vor der Rückfahrt die körperlichen Strapazen des Wettkampfs zu beseitigen (Körperhygiene) und um die Trennung der Wettkampfbekleidung von der Reisebekleidung durch-führen zu können. Diese Art des Eingehens auf die Bedürfnisse des Gastes durch das Hotelmanagement ist vorbildlich.

Area recommendations
Neben den Sportstätten des "Eislauf-Zentrums" mit seiner "400-m-Standard-Bahn für Eisschnelllauf" sind die Gaststätten mit mittelalterlichem Flair und hervorragendem Angebot der Küche und des Kellers (Getränke) zu empfehlen. Für den Besuch der Umgebung und zum Nutzen der Museen und Theater fehlte auf Grund der Wettkämpfe die Zeit.

“Hotel in ruhiger zentraler Lage”

Das Hotel, gelegen am schönen Schloßberg mit netten Lokalen, ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der äußerlich nicht so schöne Bau erfüllte von innen die Erwartungen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und angenehm mit großen Fenstern, die den Blick ins Grüne boten. Der einzige - nicht ganz unerhebliche - Nachteil war, dass sich die Fenster nicht ganz öffnen ließen, sondern lediglich ein Kippstellung möglich war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Angesichts des schlechten Wetters war ein Frühstücken auf der vorhandenen Außenterrasse/ Balkon leider nicht möglich. Für den Wochenendpreis ein sehr günstiges Angebot!

“Hotel nahe des Sachsenrings”

Pro: + sauberes angenehmes Business-Hotel, welches im Norden von Chemnitz liegt (liegt nahe des Sachsenrings - die Fahrt dorthin dauert ca. 15-20 Minuten) + ruhige und grüne Umgebung mit einem kleinen Park hinter dem Hotel + Frühstück ist sehr reichlich und frisch + freundliches Personal Kontra: - Frühstück ist auf Grund der Businessklientel relativ teuer - es gibt nur wenige kostenlose Parkplätze in der Straße vor dem Hotel, alternative ist eine Tiefgarage, für die extra pro Stunde bzw. Tag bezahlt werden muss
