“Nice hotel in Orbetello”

Nice enough hotel in Orbetello. A bit noisy as on the main street through the town, but convenient for catching the bus from the Station or to San Stefano. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff.

“Better than expected”

Being quoted as a seventies styled hotel I had a degree of reservation but was pleasantly surprised. The location was on the main road at the extremity of the new town, next to the park opening onto the old town ( map reference needs changing ). The room was suitably large with a small kitchen area and very large balcony. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a good selection.

Traveller's tip
Try La Nikkia Ristorante. From the hotel through the Town Gate entrance to the Old Town, keep straight on 100yds on the Rt. Brilliant sea food.

“Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel”

Wir haben ein tolles, sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel vorgefunden, das sich seinen Gästen verpflichtet fühlt. Die fehlende Nähe zum Strand wird durch einen kostenlosen Shuttle Service (Juli und August) und kostenlosen Liegen am Strand kompensiert. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber. Anlass zur Kritik gab eigentlich nur die Klimaanalge, die "zu gut" funktionierte (im Zimmer war es anfangs sehr kalt) und der veraltete Fernseher (haben wir aber sowieso nicht benutzt). Ansonsten alles TOP! Von der Dachterasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Angeblich steht auf dem Dach auch noch ein Whirlpool, aber der wurde während unseres Aufenthalt anscheinend gewartet/repariert.

Dining
Eigentlich gibt es nur zwei echte empfehlenswerte Restaurants. In der Haupreisezeit sollten man am Abend vorher reservieren.

“Non soddisfatta”

Ho prenotato una suite al Park Residence Hotel di Orbetello La descrizione della camera è la seguente: "Un matrimoniale o due letti singoli. Ampio balcone con vista sulla laguna di Orbetello. Decorazioni in stile Anni Settanta con arredi in legno scuro e tessuti a motivi geometrici. Balcone. TV, telefono con linea esterna diretta e minibar con acqua in bottiglia gratuita." Quando sono arrivata in albergo mi è stata data una camera che non aveva nè l'ampio balcone con vista sulla laguna di Orbetello nè tantomeno il minibar con acqua in bottiglia gratuita. A fronte della mia lamentela alla reception mi è stato detto che non solo la camera da me prenotata non era disponibile ma che in realtà non è mai stata disponibile fin dal giorno che ho prenotato. Mi chiedo se anche l'acqua in bottiglia gratuita non era disponibile! Mi sono stati offerti 10 Euro per il disguido che onestamente trovo un insulto.

“A proximite d'Orbetello”

Hôtel correct où nous avons séjourné 1 nuit : pour 4 (2 adultes + 2 ados) nous avons eu 1 grande chambre (style année 70/80 en noir et blanc)+ 1 divan-lit(2 lits)dans 1 autre pièce avec une terrasse.Douche très bien.Terrasse au dernier étage avec vue de côté sur la lagune + possibilité de bronzer car sièges mis à disposition. Petit déjeuner pris dans une salle rénovée fermée en sous-sol : très bon petit déjeuner copieux avec choix en sucré/salé et bien présenté.

Traveller's tip
Comme dans notre cas, hôtel de proximité pour embarquer à Porto San stéfano pour l'Isola del Giglio. Orbetello mérite une ballade ainsi que le massif de l'Argentario.
