I got stuck in the elevator for 10 min, i screamed for help and someone reseted the elevator and it slowly moved down to the lobby where i tried to brush this off. Because of this i wont be giving a good review. I am afraid of enclosed areas and this left me in shock.

we have full paid the room to the hotel to secure the room for our expatriate however they resell our room to someone else after the mid-night. so ridiculous.

If a guest has not arrived prior to our end of day closing, nor have we received communications from guest in regard to late arrival, the room will become a no-show and is cancelled in our system, then available for resell. We apologize we weren't able to reinstate the reservation and accommodate your stay due to hotel sell out.

Quality of the room is poor. I think the hotel is renovated recently. But still miles to go. Also the hotel doesn’t provide many basic toiletries, for example: body lotion. Price vs what you get has big gap

I didn’t know it was a dog friendly hotel. Lots of big dogs walking around and the idea that dogs were in my room previously, did not sit well. There weren’t any extra toiletries available. Just soap and shampoo. The gym was very nice and clean. The pool, not so much. Parking was terrible. It’s self parking that is $28 per day. Not enough parking for all the cars in the lot so I spent 15 min waiting for a parking spot to open up. Hotel is very small but has a cute bar in the lobby along with a restaurant. Location of the hotel is good.

I needed a pet friendly hotel and they met that need. The staff was friendly to my dogs, there were water bowls in the lobby, they gave me a room near the elevator so I could quickly access it to take the dogs outside. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean updated.

Had an amazing time at Sonesta Irvine! We needed to switch rooms due to a connected door, and the staff were super helpful, especially Martha. The new room offered an incredible sunset view. Plus, it's just 20 minutes from Corona del Mar beach, which was perfect for our day trips. Everything was comfortable and welcoming. Can't wait for our next visit!

The room I was given was dirty I went to take a shower after having a long night and there was green goop on the shower floor along with hair and a smudge of makeup on the bed sheets I was only there for about an hour and a half ended up leaving and booking with another hotel and stayed there instead the front desk guy was nice the room was not.

Staff not even close to great. No bath in our room for our little one despite requesting. Only 1 working elevator (especially during checkout time?!) only TWO luggage carts for the entire hotel?????? And you can’t use the credit the day you leave, rude and silly. What does it matter when we use it? We would’ve LOVED to come back because the hotel itself is clean and we liked the pool. Bummer about the staff not caring or being helpful at all.

Honest review: My overall experience here was awesome! I would definitely stay again. The walls in the room are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbors if they are talking loudly. The windows in the rooms do not open so I was disappointed I couldn't get fresh air flow. Most of the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They are quick to get things to your room if you ask for it and they're quick to answer the front desk phone. Water is not complimentary outside of the two they give you on arrival so you'll want to buy your own at the store. The shuttle service was amazing and so convenient! The restaurant inside of the hotel is very pricey because the portions are ridiculously large (the downside is that you can't really take anything back to your room because no microwave so it feels like its not worth it). Overall I had great time and I appreciated how clean and updated the interior is. Staff told me they just went through a $20M renovation.
