Great room for the price

Walking distance to Disney. The bed was a little on the hard side for my taste but still comfortable. I would stay again.

Close to Disneyland

Very close to Disneyland, free parking and continental breakfast. The price was good but the room smelled. Staffs were ok, nothing really special.

Loopafstand van Disneyland en California Adventure

Posted 18-May-2015

2 day trip to Disney & California adventure

Posted 16-May-2015
We really wanted a hotel that was close to the main gate of both parks but also had free parking and was a decent price. Well this hotel was exactly that, it about a 10min walk from the main gates of Disney and California adventure which we didn't mind at all. The only small complaint we had was the walls a thin so you could hear every a lot going on in the surrounding rooms but wasn't too bad at all.

Pros: Close to everything, great value hotel, nice upgraded rooms & comfy beds.
Location: Plenty of nice resterants close by, 10 min walk to Disneyland, new CVS store 2 mins away from hotel.
We stayed at this hotel 9/5/15 for 4 nights, we had a very pleasant stay, hotel is close to everything, the rooms are clean & the staff are very friendly, a big shout out to Ron at the front desk it was lovely to see him again. We have stayed here many times over the years & would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable Hotel near Disneyland. Breakfast has improved & the breakfast room attendant was very nice. A very pleasant stay.

Nice place to hang your hat for a week in Disney

Posted 14-May-2015
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Breakfast selection.
Location: Close enough to everything you need.
Very pleasant staff. Rooms were good size and clean but no pillow top mattress, at least not in our room. Pool and hot tub were fine. Lots of parking, about a 15-20 Min walk to the Disney gate. Close to 7-11 and the ABC store which came in handy. Breakfast was a little limited but the ladies working in there are awesome.

Cheap near Disneyland

Posted 13-May-2015
Pros: From the pool we were able to watch the fireworks.
Cons: Breakfast is just ok, but hey, it's free.
Location: Walking distance to Disneyland.
We stayed here for 3 nights. The man at reception when we checked in was great. He even upgrade our room for us at no charge. The room was very clean. For an older motel it was in good condition, carpet was clean, and the beds were comfy. We didn't have a single problem during our stay.

Great location and great staff

Posted 13-May-2015
Pros: Staff was very accommodating and kind.
Cons: Breakfast room
Location: PERFECT for Disneyland!
My husband and I were just staying for one night so we could go to Disneyland. We've stayed in many other hotels in the area, some were considerably more expensive. We found this hotel to be very satisfying. The room was large, clean and had more storage for personal items, ie clothing and bathroom items than most hotels. The staff was friendly and very helpful. And a bonus was that parking, breakfast and wifi were included for free. We actually got to the hotel at 10 am. I was hoping they'd let us park there while we went to the park and I was prepared to pay for that because we weren't checked in yet. They were very willing to let us park and because our room was ready they even let us check in early. We were very pleasantly surprised. The only negative is that the breakfast room is very small for the number of guests, however they had plenty of staff to keep things refilled and available. We will stay again. Thanx

Worth the low price

Posted 12-May-2015
Pros: Excellent price, less than a mile/easy walk to everywhere I needed to be (Disneyland, drug store, race). Continental breakfast very popular.
I needed a hotel close to Disneyland on what I knew would be a very busy weekend. The hotel I usually stay at was booked save for some super premium rooms, so after a lot of review reading I booked at the Super 8 Maingate. All the reviews are pretty accurate: it's clean, it's not much to look at, great place to stay if you're just sleeping in a room and don't need all the fancy amenities. I stayed in the very first room next to the check in and continental breakfast room, it was quiet from room to room (didn't hear the breakfast crowd or my neighbors) but VERY LOUD from the door/window to the parking area and street. I solved this by turning the fan on and blocking 2/3rds of it with a blanket to keep the breeze down. It blocked out all the walking people noise past the room, and about 95% of the road noise (exception of the busses, the drag racing and the motorcycles). If you stay here, ask for a room in the 170-190 range. Those numbered rooms are in the back, and face an empty lot. Much quieter. I would definitely stay again, it's exactly as you would expect for the $$ you spend.
