“An uexpected pleasure!”

I had fear of spending the night in a "suites" hotel on New Year's Eve due to the potential of party in the rooms but we signed a sheet stating that there could be no parties in the rooms and it worked out great. We went to our party at the OC Fair Grounds and came back to the nice quiet hotel room that we had hoped for. The staff was great. They ended up serving breakfast a half hour later than they were supposed to to accomadate all the late risers the next morning. The room was very comfortable! We will leave the usual stay at Embassy Suites and do future bookings with Springhill in the future. Too many out of control kids running around at the Embassy Suites on Main and Dyer at the holidays. Thanks Springhill!

Great 1 night stay....front desk staff helped with urgent directions in a very timely fashion.. A girl's soccer tournament must have been happening this weekend, so was a bit noisy with related activities, but very understandable....

Everything was better than expected except the hot breakfast, egg portion was possibly a powder bake mixture.

“Fantastic deal at a great hotel”

This hotel is centrally located just north of John Wayne Airport. We never heard planes landing nor taking off, so that was a big plus. The complimentary breakfast buffet was on point. Cleanliness of the property was also very good. Add complimentary parking and a cordial staff, and it makes for a hotel very much worth staying. We'll be back.

“SpringHill Suites suits us perfectly”

I did research for locations to stay near John Wayne Airport and had easy access to the major freeways and wasn't looking for a hotel with all the bells & whistles. I found SpringHill Suites. Its a 4 story smaller boutiqu-ey hotel that has workout facility, swimming pool, 1st come 1st serve free parking. They have free continental breakfast so that was a great way for us to start our day. Make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, english muffins, bagels, oatmeal, cereal selections, 2 kinds of sweet muffins, yogurt & enough options to suit many. our room was spaceous as there was 3 of us and though we wanted 2 beds; the 1 King Bed Suite that had the sectional sofa suits our sleeping needs. We liked that the tandem bathroom set up where separated shower & sink from toilet. Since we were not spending most of our time hanging out at the hotel, it was comfortable and convenient enough for the 2 nights we stayed. Though we wished the towels were of better thicker quality but we didnt chose the hotel expecting plush towels, robes & room service.

“new modern hotel with a reasonable price”

The hotel is new and it is very clean. The rooms are very modern. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and it did have a bath which was good for our 2 year old son. The other suite had a king size bed and it only had a shower but that was good for my parents. The breakfast was good. You can't really beat the price and it was close to everything in Orange County. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families. It is RIGHT off the freeway so it is close to everything: South Coast Plaza, Newport/Balboa beach, Laguna beach, Disneyland,etc. We didn't use the pool but they do have an indoor pool and fitness room.

“Loved this hotel! Very modern!”

This is my first time staying at Springhill Suites by Marriot and I was very impressed. I travel a lot so I've stayed at quite a bit of hotels. By far, this one has been in my top 3. The free breakfast buffet made it even better and the location was perfect for places I needed to go. Not too far from the beach and for the price, I'd definitely stay here again. It was totally worth it!

“Very calm and cozy”

The hotel is small, so check in and check out were very quick. Loved the rooms. Although they seem bigger in pictures, in reality they are small for 3 people. Hotel environment is good and complimentary breakfast was great as well. Would definitely go back for this price.
