“Would not go back!”

Bathroom fan loud and annoying. Pillows were horrible. Carpet was gross!

“Pillows Waiting”

We left two pillows in our room when we were going to San Diego and when we came back through the next afternoon they were waiting for us at the front desk. Good inexpensive, clean and close to Knotts and Disneyland. We have been here before and pleased every time.

“A Step Down”

I booked this hotel due to it's proximity to a meeting I had in the area. It is on par with a very low end hotel. Everything about this property screams "Bare Minimum". The hotel is pretty dated and has a dirty feel. The breakfast consisted of some Nature Valley granola bars and some pretty bad coffee. I knew when booking that I was not going to be at the Ritz Carlton, but didn't anticipate what I got. Bottom line. . .its a pretty below average hotel room in a pretty below average area.

“Thumbs Up”

Great place. The room was good size, the staff were friendly and helpful. Even though not a so good location, I felt safe at this hotel. This place was comfortable and homely and a welcome change from big hotel chains. I will stay here again!

“Clean and Roomy”

Every time enter a hotel room, I always check the whole room to make sure everything clean. Surprisingly , this hotel was quiet clean. The bed was comfortable and the air condition worked well. Overall I had a great stay at this hotel.

“Way better than expected”

I got a great deal on a last minute reservation for Friday on Labor Day Weekend. For the rate and timing, I did not expect much, but all I needed was something reasonably close to John Wayne Airport so I really did not care about the condition. I was pleasantly surprised how clean it was and how well it was furnished. My room and bed were very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. When I mentioned that I was going to the airport in the morning, she asked if I needed directions. When she could not get her computer to print them for me, she hand wrote them. There are just enough restaurants within walking distance to have some good options for dinnner. I was about 15-20 minutes from the airport the next day, which was worth the drive since it was 1/2 the cost of hotels only a little bit closer.

“Pleasant, Not Crowded”

Arrived in afternoon, quick check-in. Received a handicapped room on the first floor. Room had nice furniture, plenty of light, working TV. All in all a very nice room.

“Carpets were filthy!! Air conditioner broke. Peeling pain in the shower. Don't do it!!”

Rooms looked nice upon entry. However, when we took our shoes off, our socks got so black from walking on the carpet. If you didn't have socks on the floors felt waxy and gross. TV only had 25 channels. Pool was extremely small, but clean. The soap in the bath tub peeled off the paint that they had used to make the tub look new. Our air conditioner died the last night, so we were uncomfortable. I would not go back.
