Proximity to the beach and beach, shopping and other amenities is great. The restaurant next door (Cappy’s) was a great diner. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The motel is a classic old beach motel and the rooms are partially updated but not updated very well. I stayed in 2 rooms- one had oddly squishy flooring (new engineered hardwood that seemed put over old flooring) with a few gouges/hole. The sink was smelly when you ran water and the furniture is so old - chairs were sunken and the wood a little sticky from years of people touching them. The place could use some work. However the second room was in a little better condition but with the same furniture. There was a very nice sunny deck on the second level that was a great outside sitting area, even if just concrete with plastic chairs. The price was great and parking was included and it was very easy to find a space. I would go back if price continued to be my deciding factor for a room.

Be honest with yourself, you're paying for the proximity to the ocean and surrounding area. The room was clean and met our expectations. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. It was wonderful. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

We stayed here 2 years ago and were very pleased. Happy to say that the visit was great again this year. The rooms are large and well laid out, comfortable beds. Nice and helpful staff. Great location and price. Try the Spaghetti Bender up the street, it's a favorite from my wife's childhood. Only thing is that the floor needs to be cleaned a little better from the sand coming from the nearby beach.

I'd return for sure!
Very close to the beach. Not walkable, but only 5 min away. Had an excellent pizza and salad at 22nd Street Pizza. Highly recommend. Great help, very friendly and man was that pizza GOOD. Way better than the crap you eat from chain restaurants. The hotel is simple. But clean.

This was a great place to stay, the service was great and the room was affordable. The only thing that bothered us is how loud the highway is when you are trying to sleep.

First time staying and would totally do it again. Great location within walking distance to the beach which was main draw. They provide beach towels if you need them. Great Vacancy Coffee place to get breakfast in the morning and restaurants close (Casablanca was great and enjoyed the unexpected show!). Parking was always plentiful. Its a bit noisy being on hwy 1 but everything else more than makes up for it, I thought it was a great price and loved the location. Staff was super friendly.

Short and sweet stay within 5m from beach.
Only stayed for one night but was pleased with our experience. Check in/out was quick and easy with friendly and helpful staff. Room was small but clean and bed was comfortable. Only issue would be with parking as there is an adjacent apartment complex and we were unsure where we could park. The hotel is very close to the beach which is why we booked it. Its a cozy, clean, inexpensive hotel within walking distance to beach, definite recommend.

Nice family beach motel.
It was clean and comfortable. Close to beach and they had loaner towels, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Not to mention family rooms with 3 beds, fridge and microwave.

Floors were squishy like the under boards were rotted. Front desk staff was great! Location was also great! The light in our room viberated all night so that kept us up. If your not looking for anything fancy this hotel will do!
