“Very Nice Stay and Convenient Location”

Only stayed one night, but everything was clean, and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating when we made a special request. Would definitely go back.

“We'd return”

Our room was well maintained and immaculate. The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. Underground parking felt secure. Quiet time of year (October) so no crowds to contend with and the rates were more affordable. We enjoyed our stay, and the nearby bridge over the highway provided convenient access to the beach. We would return.

Area recommendations

Be sure to visit Dana Harbor and walk on the beach.

“Great Hotel in Dana Point”

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and premises are very clean. The gardens within the hotel courtyard are very nice. It is also a great location right across from the beach. There are also several restaurants in walking distance. I would go back

“Great location - fair price”

Stayed 3 nights during first week of Nov. Owners live onsite and keep all in great shape. Beautiful interior courtyard landscaping. Only issue was the noise from the train which runs until about 2AM most nights. There's a reason the hotel supplies earplugs! But they worked so all was ok. Location can't be beat. Beautiful beach accesses right across the street.

Area recommendations

Dana Point harbor is beautiful. Check out the Strand and Salt Creek beaches. Take the ferry to Catalina for the day.

“"I will be back for sure"”

I was so very pleased with my stay here. The management is so cordial and are always wanting to make sure that all is in proper order for your stay. I had no concerns as to the cleanliness of the room and the beds. The outside grounds were well kept and maintained and very comfortable to just relax. I will be back.

“Great place! Wonderful staff! Will go back!”

Could not beat the price. Beautiful,well kept and very comfortable. Great location right across from the beach, with nothing blocking the view and quite too considering its right on PCH. Will diffidently be going back.

“Very relaxing place to stay”

This hotel is something special ! It has a garden inside of the building, something you don't see very often. It's very relaxing, really! The room was very clean. The staff at the hotel are SO VERY NICE, friendly and always ready to help. You feel like you are at home and welcome. The beach is about 5 min. to walk to and not too many people. And families with children have to consider that you would have to drive your car to go to eat, not far thou,but for couples there are couple restarants I bet you would apreciate! Overall our stay was extremly satisfied!

“WOW!”

I did not expect this level of perfection from a little Best Western - it surpassed all my expectations. This cute little hotel directly across from the ocean is very clean with lots of great seating areas in the courtyards and upper deck. The continental brekafast was a big hit with my husband as well as the roof top hot tub and sauna! The only draw back is that the ocean front room balaconies are a little noisy since it sits directly on PCH and the train runs along the beach as well. However, the rooms are well insulated and the noise is not an issue when the doors are closed. Loved this place and would definitely return and recommend to others!

“Good location, nice people”

A good moderate-priced hotel. The location is good, right on the Pacific Coast Highway, it was clean and the staff was friendly. Met expectations for the price. Neing right on the highway I though it would be noisier in the room, but it wasn't. The free continental breakfast was decent. Nice to be able to walk to beach--hotel is close to the pedestrian overpass. Also walking-close (just a few doors down) a nice bar that shows sporting events on big TVs--clientel a mix of locals and tourists and two restaurants. A short drive to the shops and restaurants and beachpark at the marina. Nice ocean views--viewing deck and jacuzzi have nice views.
