Stayed one night to visit family member @ local college. Solid hotel choice.

“What I expected for the price”

This hotel was one of those that are good for one night on a road trip. The price was great which is why I chose it. I chose it knowing it'd be basic and I wasn't disappointed. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, though, and the sheets were in good shape. The bathroom was very nice however in the morning when we were leaving I had my head upside down drying my hair and I saw the the toilet was disgusting under the rim. I was glad I was leaving. The breakfast was simple with bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. No frills anywhere and it wasn't too horrible for a one night stand.

“comfortable and economical”

Super 8-Oneonta/Cooperstown was an easy access from interstate and surrounding areas. Was disappointed on first night as room appeared clean but had a stale lingering odor. I had already booked for a return stay and was very pleased with the overall cleaniness and freshness of room. Pleasant staff and breakfast make this economical motel worth another stay.

“Only if Necessary”

Besides a convenient location and the fact that I didn't feel unsafe, I would have a hard time recommending this hotel. First impressions of the hotel weren't great, but I was only staying one night and just needed a place to crash. The hotel is pet friendly and there were quite a few guests with pets. When checking in the front desk clerk was not very friendly, but she was quick. I'm not even sure she said hello or welcome to the hotel. Most of the first floor smelled like wet dog and some of the guests had very yappy dogs, so we were being barked at on the way to our room. The room itself smelled very musty. The air conditioner was set to very cold, and I am guessing that was done to try to get rid of the smell. The room seemed dirty and the bathtub had excessive soap scum on the bottom. The wireless internet was very spotty. The free breakfast was packaged bagels and muffins and some cold cereal. Nothing very tasty, but enough to send you on your way and keep you full until lunch. We decided against the coffee they had and stopped along the way. If ever in the area again, I would look to stay somewhere else. I would NOT stay more than one night.

“Acceptable”

Can't argue with the price. This was my 2nd visit in 2 months. It was a much better experience. The room was much more comfortable than before. Clean and fresh. The first time I stayed I've should have asked to be changed rooms.

“Would go back there again when in the area”

Motel was fine. Would stay there again whenever we are in the area

“Adequate”

Rooms was clean, but a little musty smell.....fabreeze goes along way......if I stayed again, I would request second floor room......outer hallways need to be addressed and windows cleaned.....inner hallways very clean.....laundry area needs attention......
