The desk staff was friendly and kind. However, most of the hotel is under renovation. At 4:00AM we were awaken by construction noise. We noticed that the sprinkler head in the bathroom was still covered with painters tape, but the other sprinkler heads in the room were uncovered. By the number of vehicles in the parking lot during our stay it appeared we were the only guests, so it felt unsettling.

Unfortunate experience.
The ceiling in the bedroom was reinforced to keep from bowing and directly above the bed. There was mold in the bathroom shower curtain. Outdated, which is okay, but when things are starting to fall apart makes the stay unpleasant. There is no elevator, all luggage must be carried up the stairs which are losing their support. Fine for someone just wanting to lay their head for the night but not meant for a family.

I rented the room for my mom and daughters and the area behind the check in counter was tore up, the check in phone was broke, the continental breakfast was disappointing (cold cereal, frozen waffles that were left out, no coffee).

Expensive disappointment
We were traveling through the area and saw that there were limited options on where to stay in Blair. We thought that a Super 8 would be a safe bet, but were unhappy overall. The location was not well-marked and looked more like an apartment than a hotel. The front desk staff was friendly, but when we got to our room, it was subpar. Lights were unplugged, the carpet was dirty and sticky in some spots and the mini-fridge was not cool. We later figured out this was because it was not plugged in either. Coffee and juice machines are in a public space but those were unplugged after breakfast hours. The cost of our room did not reflect the quality of our stay. As a comparison, I have a hotel booked in a nice area of Denver next week for less than the cost of this hotel, per night.

Wasn't expecting a hgh standard and and got what I expected. A older, rough around the edges and noisey motel. Breakfast was carbs, carbs, carbs with no protein except yogurt. At least they had a banana for me.

This Super 8 was back in the trees in a dark part of town. An old church or something had windows covered next door with people going in and out. Motel smelled horribly of smoke, it has never been renovated. It was clean in the room, just smelled horrible as well. I was worried my truck would be broken in to. Do not recommend.

We tried this hotel for first time - 5 rooms for all of us after our family reunion nearby. Hotel needs dire upgrades. Not very clean; bery not cozy, side door thats to be locked had tape over the latch so anyone can get in. Said some breakfast provided - it was snack cakes and coffee. Next year we will stay elsewhere….

We booked for a family of 5 in our reservation. When I got to the hotel I didn't expect to have to pay more for a roll-away bed. I guess when I requested a room that could sleep 5, my expectation of 5 sleeping spots was too much for the front desk.

Okay for a road trip night
Check in was friendly and got us another room quickly as the first smelled of smoke. Place is small and older in need of some repairs. Housekeeping walked in about an hour before check out time when we were packing up to leave.
