I had a lovely stay at The White Hart. The room was clean and pretty and the dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The staff were very friendly (other than the receptionist) and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I will definitely be back.

Nice location and hotel setting. However the rooms are small and we had a problem with the shower. The thermostat was broken as the shower went from freezing cold to scalding hot. I reported it to reception but came away feeling a little disgruntled that we paid so much money but couldn’t have a shower.

Lovely hotel for me & my two kids for a one night stay, we had the quad room in the cottage. Comfortable room, a home from hove feel, only slight negative seemed the carpet was not hoovered. Would definitely stay again.

Disappointing
The hotel itself was fine.my room smelt like cess pit sewage. Some of the staff were borderline rude. Waited for someone to check me in. Waited to be seated at breakfast, had to ask four times for some dinner was told they are fully booked, then I would have to wait till 9pm, when I said send it to my room then the kitchen orders were full, so the story changed a few times eventually they seated me. I got the impression they were short staffed.

The White Hart - a retreat-treat
We had a lovely stay at the White Hart. It was spotless, safe to visit during covid-19 and the food was great. The team were attentive and the atmosphere perfectly relaxed. Highly recommended.

Great Views
Fantastic location with great views, large beer garden and two places to eat, pub and restaurant. The room was a good size and very quiet, very clean bathroom and tea coffee facilities were great, nice touch home made biscuits. Lovely pace to stay with a fantastic breakfast, have the full English great fresh produce.

A great place! The room was decent size and very modern but also retained the charm of this country inn. The bathroom was very nice with a powerful shower and a beautiful bath. The coffee in the room was excellent and the bed was very big! Breakfast was great.

Great stay
The hotel and staff were excellent. The only issue was a wedding was taking place and were extremely noisy after the wedding. It might be a good idea to keep all wedding guests together.

An ideal Whit Friday location
This was a surprise! We did not realise that the hotel grounds were one of several venues for the renowned band contest which is part of the Saddleworth Whit Friday celebrations. After negotiating across with the stewards we found ourselves at the heart of the action we had travelled to experience. The bonus is that this is a lovely, if expensive hotel. We plan to return.. (Oh and the views are superb..)

Great place to stay if your waistline can take it
During a business trips to Oldham I stayed here for a few days. The rooms are very comfortable (if a little "boutique hotel" - who needs that many cushions?), staff friendly, etc, etc... ...But the food is fantastic - Dinner, breakfast and even the home-cooked biscuits in the room! Good range of well kept beers at the bar as well.

We stayed here for a family wedding and that was amazing but very disappointed with our out of date uncomfortable noisy room! Had no sleep all night due to loose head board and boiler noises which sounded like it was in bed with us! Wouldn't recommend as very overpriced for such a disappointing room!!

Good establishment..if a little pricey.
Attractive well decorated and comfortable room with a well appointed en-suite. The entire Inn is tastefully decorated to a good standard. The staff were attentive and helpful. The quality of the food was very high with moderate rather "Nouvelle Cuisine" sized portions that were, surprisingly, the equal of central London prices!
