This hotel is georgeous. Nice and quiet as cars not allowed in the area. Only certain taxi's. The staff were great food lovely. Cannot fault it. Tallinn is one of the nicest cities I have ever visited.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful, i was given a Room upgrade at check in (without requesting it).The room was very spacious and immaculately clean with Egyptian cotton bed linen, bath robe and slippers. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice. I had this at a bargain price of £60 when I booked earlier this year. This is a hidden gem of a hotel which is 10 mins walking distance of the old town.

Great location in old town, amazing breakfast buffet, excellent food in the restaurant for dinner. Our room on the top floor had a great view with a beautiful granite bathroom with a nice sized tub. There was a personalized welcome in the room upon arrival. Loved this place and would go back!

Merchant House Hotel is a historic property with lots of charm and warmth. Rooms were quite spacious and the bathroom was especially large; however the "double" room only had single beds as opposed to double beds and the beds felt small. Location was prime as it was not on the main square (so fairly quiet) but walking distance to all main sights in old town. Staff were helpful with good working knowledge of English. Breakfast was excellent though the hot water for the tea was not very hot.

Perfect location to enjoy walking around old city. Fabulous breakfast included with stay. Loved old fashioned elevator lift.
Will definitely go back. Can be a problem if you have to park a rental car. No parking in front of hotel
The charming, well-preserved Old Town of Tallinn is a popular tourist destination and shopping hub. A UNESCO World Heritage site, visitors are drawn to the quaint cobblestone streets, well-maintained parks, and medieval architecture, which dates back to the 13th century. The only gothic hall in Northern Europe, Tallinn Town Hall is topped by Old Thomas, who watches over the city atop his spire.
