"Most wonderful place"
We were placed in Room 14 across from the Piano Suite and since it was at the end of the hall way it was super quiet; but then again the whole place was quiet almost all the time. Love the place!

"Iconic building in great location/"
This was our first stay at the Telegraaf, after some 8 visits to Tallinn over the last 16 years. Hotels like this ccertainly did not exist back in the 90s. But Tallinn Old Town - or generally - has not been spoilt by development. If anything the reverse.

"One of the nicest places we've ever stayed"
This was the nicest place we stayed on our vacation in the region. The hotel is located very close to the old town. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is amazing, and the hotel facilities are very nice. The room we booked was not available so we received a free upgrade. The rooms have free tablets and are very clean. Note: the pillows are a bit different, but you can order different ones from the "pillow menu" on the tablet.

"Real luxury"
Hotel staff and facilities great. They were polite, helpful and friendly. When my daughter sat too heavily on a camp bed we had requested, and broke a wooden slat, within 5 minutes the bed had been replaced. No fuss, bother or criticism. That meant a lot to a worried 9 year-old, and by extension to her parents. The room was spacious and spotless with wonderful air conditioning - needed as temperatures were around 30 degrees all week. Food was great, especially the breakfasts. With so many other eating establishments nearby, we only ate at the hotel once in the evening during our week's stay. If/when we are back in Tallinn, there is no question about where we will stay. This hotel, so close to the city centre. Many thanks to all the staff.

"Excellent Old Town Hotel"
We stayed in Tallinn for three nights during a recent holiday, the Old Town is beautiful and not to be missed. The hotel was on the edge of the main square of the Old Town and a perfect location. Lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity which were excellent both in terms of quality and price. If you have the time do visit the tunnels which go beneath the town, very interesting!!

"Good value and friendly staff"
Stopped for 1 night and really happy. Had 2 niggles in one we asked for twin beds not a double and we couldn't get an early check in. Other than that it was bang on - spotless room, imaginative decor and quite a quirky feel about it. Didn't try any of the other services but the whole hotel had an interested quirky design to it - mixture of old features and new stuff, plus the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

"Central inside the old city walls"
Excellent hotel, great location, brilliant staff, great restaurant and provides a decent breakfast spread. My only quibble is with accessibility. I am in a wheelchair and the actual bedroom was good with wheel-in shower and plenty of turning space. The main entrance however is up one fairly large step and then two smaller steps into reception or the dining area. They do have a movable short ramp, a bit steep but adequate if you have a manual wheelchair and an a abled bodied helper. The staff will help but are not all experienced with wheelchairs. The bar entrance has a shallower step and takes you to the reception level on the flat. You have to use the staff lift wihich comes out in a big cleaning room which has a 3cm door threshold to negotiate. I'm a tetraplegic C7 and managed fine with help from my wife, but not I cannot recommend this hotel to most wheelchair users. Although we would go back again!

Pocket Guide: Tallinn Old Town Hotels

The charming, well-preserved Old Town of Tallinn is a popular tourist destination and shopping hub. A UNESCO World Heritage site, visitors are drawn to the quaint cobblestone streets, well-maintained parks, and medieval architecture, which dates back to the 13th century. The only gothic hall in Northern Europe, Tallinn Town Hall is topped by Old Thomas, who watches over the city atop his spire.
