The hotel was extremely nice for the reasonable price that we booked. The rooms were lovely and we enjoyed the pool and spa (including a jacuzzi and sauna). We also appreciated the free coffee machine and pastries that were available all day long. The staff members are absolutely wonderful- super friendly and helpful with regards to any need that we had. Overall, for this price range it's one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at!
We only stayed one night as we were doing a short stopover. The hotel was close to Aeroparque where we had to leave very early in the morning. We also arrive pretty late but the staff was very helpful, and the location had several options for restaurants and good food close by.
We stayed in 2 areas of Buenas Aires on this trip. Palermo is definitely a fine destination. The Mine Hotel has bar and restaurant which are much better than expected for a small hotel. Breakfast and happy hour are notable. The small pool is fine for cooling off but not for swimming. However, the pool area is beautiful: peaceful, with waterfall and plants. The staff are excellent. They go out of their way to help, advise, and direct guests.
We had a hard time finding a place when our flight to Patagonia was cancelled so we changed a couple of hotels during our stay in Buenos Aires.
Jam was the cutest one so far and we truly wish we could have stayed longer.
It is in the hippest neighborhood so it is a little bit pricey. You also have to keep in mind that you won't find the luxuries of a hotel. But it has all the charm that you can't find in a hotel as well.
The staff was great. Very friendly, very very helpful.
The open buffet breakfast was not the best. It was quite limited but the pan bread was so good it compensated everything. (The other places we stayed in, served only toast bread and did not have a versatile buffet either but were expensive hotels all the same)
Our stay in Jam was an experience in itself and it added so much to our stay in Buenos Aires !!!

We booked this hotel on the recommendation of the owner of a parrilla tour we took. It's location is pretty good to walk to the shopping on Honduras in Palermo Soho. There's also a really good Parrilla only 1 block away but I've forgotten it's name already :(. We had no reservations about walking in the area at night but always take common sense precautions just as you would in your native country. There's a coffee shop called Bonafide about a 10 minute walk away and it is so worth the walk. Great tartas and specialty coffee's. The shopping is also quite good with unique boutique stores everywhere. It's not like shopping in Canada where every store seems to sell exactly the same look. It's not bargain basement cheap but the quality is there. The bar scene on Honduras was a little overwhelming too since its all night long. Enough about the area, now the hotel. The hotel was very clean, open and bright in the reception area with a bit of an Asian flair with all the budda heads. The staff was super friendly and accomodating. I will advise that check out is at 10:00 am which is a bit early after a late night out! But again, we were well accommodated by the staff, who also stored our luggage while we went shopping before our departure. The front desk also organized a very comfortable private taxi to the airport which arrived exactly on time. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. We would definitely stay at this property again. A big thanks to the wonderful staff!!
