    Entertainment

Oklahoma City is a great destination for many kinds of entertainment and many of them are year round! White Water Bay water park (seasonal) and Celebration Station is in our neighborhood. We are around the corner from the great Oklahoma Fairgrounds where, beside the fair in September, the Equine Center is a horse central from rodeos to showcases. Downtown Oklahoma City (10 minutes) has the beautiful new Myriad Gardens and event center (ice skating in the winter!) along with the Oklahoma City Art Museum, the Civc Center for year round theatre, symphony and special events. Historic Bricktown, where the Oklahoma Red Hawks Baseball is headquartered along with night clubs, restaurants, Harkins Cineplex, The Chesepeake Boathouse, and Bass Pro Shop, all located on a canal and the Oklahoma River. And of course our national basketball league team the Oklahoma City Thunder who play at the downtown Oklahoma City Arena, just accross the street from the Cox Convention Center.

    “Not Clean”

I have stayed at the Biltmore off and on for many years but this is the last time I will ever stay again. The hotel has gone continually downhill over the years and is just not clean anymore. One night we awoke to someone pounding on our door trying to get in and obviously confused about where her own room was. Security seemed very lax.

    “Would stay again”

Not incredibly fancy but it's got character. Staff was friendly and helpful. There's about 3 bars in the hotel but If you like country music and dancing, check out the hotel's Chisholm Bar. Finding the room may be a little confusing but once you find it, it's clean. Shower head was a little noisy but the water was hot with decent water pressure. A/C worked to cool but I could have used a heater due to the upcoming winter. Not very noisy but we could hear the people next door, they were loud and maybe intoxicated. There's surrounding restaurants and gas stations in walking distance and it's right on Meridian Ave which directly takes you to and from the airport and also on and off the freeway. My only complaint is that even though I had a non-somking room, I could smell smoke faintly in the room.

    “What Ameneties?”

This Hotel looked great from the pictures and the description, but all was not as it seemed. The advertised indoor pool isn't actually available to guests, it is for events only, yet they advertise it as on the list of regulat ameneties. Thier sauna/spa area is something similar to a overheated closet, and was out of service regardless. No complaints on hotel staff, but was nothing special. Basically can get much better prices at surrounding hotels for the exact same available ameneties and comfort. My girlfriend and I were very dissapointed, was supposed to be a fun and relaxing getaway.

    Area recommendations
Stay deeper in the city. If you can find a price right for you stay close to bricktown, that's where things are happening.
    Must see
    The Oklahoma Zoo is great.

    “Biltmore”

Staff was less than helpful and acted irritated to help me when my room key would continue to not work. I called and asked for extra hangers on 3 seperate occasions and never recieved any. The front desk staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than helping their guests. My room was across from the Bombay Club and I was extremely dissatisfied with the amount of yelling and cursing that went on all night and all week. My trip required long hours and I did not feel comfortable walking around the parking lot at night. There were several occasions where people sit and park in the middle of the road with basses blaring and usually around midnight to 2am. I did think the hotel itself was very nice and my room always was clean. Overall I am extremely dissatisfied with this hotel and its staff.

    “been there before”

I am always pleased with my stays at the Biltmore OKC. Everyone is friendly and helpful. If something needs doing, it is done speedily and with great kindness. They are always willing to accomodate for special needs. It's a great pleasure to give them a favorable review.

    Area recommendations
Don't know Oklahoma City well. I go there for a reunion, and people take me places. The Cowboy Museum and the 45th Division Museum are wonderful, and the memorial of the bombing downtown is a serene and beautiful place.

    “good place”

older hotel with full service, room was clean and quiet, one block off interstate, dozen chain restaurants/bars close by. check in person was friendly and efficient but did not mention breakfast buffet, in the morning the front desk person was not friendly at all and said the $10 buffet was not part of the deal. I just paid for it myself.

    “Relaxing Hotel”

Take a step back in time. This may be an older Hotel, but it has the charm and memories of peace and tranquility. Sure it has some minor issues as with any older hotel, but overall I was pleased with my stay. The lobby was a step back to the grandness that hotels used to offer. A Fine dining room. My Room offered 2 sinks turned away from the sleeping area, so you could actually get ready without waking everybody up. The room was clean and a comfy bed. Pillows and TV size could use some improvement. I really enjoyed the 2 doors, one through the main corridor and the other to the pool and spa. The weather was super and with the courtyards, it was very peaceful. I could not tell I was just off of I-40, no noise! Plus I saved a bunch of money over the Wingate. Parking and room access was close and easy. I will be returning to OKC in the near future and plan on returning to The Biltmore Hotel OKC.

    Area recommendations
The I-40 and Meridian area has most everything to offer close by. Numerous restaurants and fast food, shopping within a mile to the west along with more restaurants.

    “West OKC”

Hotel is older but has been remodeled and room was clean and everything worked. Close to airport, fairgrounds, outlet mall, and restaurants. Price is right, staff is friendly, restaurant and clubs on site. Worth staying here.

    Area recommendations
Bricktown is the high end area and has all the new bars, restaurants, canal, and sports arenas. West OKC is the airport, fairgrounds, and new outlet mall.
