“Nago Marriott-great place to get away to!”

My second stay at the Nago Marriott...everything is a bit pricey, from the room rate to the restaurants, but the price is WELL worth it. Also, the location is good if you intend for the hotel itself to be your destination, it is a bit of a drive to most of the nearby attractions (including the aquarium and other Churaumi-area sites).

“Lovely Hotel, Lovely Food, pity about the food.”

We had an extremely pleasant stay in the hotel. From the very beginning we felt welcomed and cared for. The Hotel itself was very nice. Our first meal in the Japanese Restaurant was good. However, when we tried the American BBQ styled restaurant it was dissapointing. It lacked atmosphere and the food was very average. I would add that despite the food and restaurant not meeting the same standards as the rest of the Hotel, the restaurant staff were still very good.

Traveller's tip
This is an isolated Hotel, in a good way, but you will need a rental car with a GPS. Aside from the manufactured tourist spots there are some wonderful old castle ruins to see and other sites to visit such as a waterfall along a 40 minute hike.
