Nosey receptionist.
Front desk clerk wasn’t very friendly when checking in. Felt like he was asking for extra items from me because I was a foreigner. Had a friend decide to stay with me last minute after going out for the evening and he was demanding my friend provide him a copy of his passport, but didn’t have it on him. The room was booked under me, there was no reason for him to be asking all these questions of my friend. Never experienced this at any of the other hotels in the area.

Better English speaking service staff is needed. Breakfast should be changed more often as you get really tired of the same food especially when you need to have it for 5 days. The hotel is designed thoughtfully with rather generous amenities. However, hotel did not provide free bottles of mineral water to guest.

Great location, very decent room
Very clean, decent sized room for Japan, lovely hotel staff and perfect location next to monorail and night life. Even though it’s close to party central it’s set back from the main track so very quiet too

Perfect Breakfast
Breakfast was perfect. Lots of local delicious dishes. Super near by Main Street. The room was clean and wide enough. But the restaurant at Main Street where the recipient recommended was not delicious. It is better to find restaurants by yourself.

Family and I have stayed at the Rocore Hotel on several occasions and will again. The only reason the service is not rated higher is that it wasn't experienced. Sign in, check out. Otherwise we were out and about which is one of the best aspects of the Rocore; its location. Kokusai-dori, Ryubo Department Store, Naha Airport, all right at hand as is the monorail. Room larger than standard, restaurant open for breakfast and family oriented. Price reasonable. All in all, an excellent value in Naha.

Clean and good location
The rooms are clean but nothing special. However, it was a loud low-frequency humming sound in our room, it came from outside the room and resonated differently in different corners of the room making it impossible to sleep in one of the beds. You could feel the bed vibrating a little from the sound. Our room was on the top floor. Can not recommend.

Nice Hotel for Business or Leisure
The Rocore is in a great location for sightseeing, shopping, eating, accessing the monorail. Nice staff, great breakfast and very near a cute little Irish bar. Would stay there again and have no reservation recommending it to anyone!

The hotel was close to Kokosai St (International St). Reception staff were quite rude except for one particular lady who was extremely pleasant to deal with. Be warned, the website advertises cable TV with multi languages capability but you can only watch 'news' channels in a language other than Japanese. The hotel has actually dubbed all other shows and channels in Japanese and you can't get subtitles or watch them with English, even if it is an English show. The housekeeping staff were lovely and the room was always spotless! The breakfast was average but at least had both Asian and western options. There is currently construction happening right next door to the hotel which is quite loud (drilling etc.) and is due to go for some time so confirm your check-in dates if you want to avoid that. The monorail is only a 5min walk and a big shopping mall is just across the street. The location of the hotel is the best thing about it but I'm not sure that it was worth the high price tag.

Great experience staying at Rocore Naha.
It was an excellent location right in Naha downtown. Great for shopping and food. Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. There was good variety of food for breakfast. It was so yummy! Highly recommend it!!

The hotel is located at a Naha downtown with a railway station nearby which is quite convenient for us to travel around the town. However, the room was a little small but clean and comfortable. Of course, if you drove a car, you should park the car into a multi-storey car park just behind the hotel.

Clean, simple,nice and close to Makishi Market!
Hotel Rocore is, like most Japanese hotels, very clean and has superb staff (English-speaking, resourceful, were able to help with logistics and advice for things to do outside the hotel). If you stay in Naha just for some time to explore that part of Okinawa and want to experience the Makishi market, which I highly recommend, then Rocore is a great choice. It is within walking distance to the market and many other stores on the International Street (Kokusai Dori). Adjusting for price, including and excluding great breakfast, this hotel offers a lot of value in my view!

I have travelled with my husband and daughter. Although I booked a superior twin room, but hotel staff has already arranged a triple room for us. It impressed me and showed attentive to customer needs. Very convenient to airport by monorail and the main shopping street in Naha, only a short walk from Kencho-mae station. Bathroom is clean and nice. Also bathing towel is provided.

Nice hotel. Very close to all the downtown Naha attractions. Right on the main strip. The nearest international atm was just about a 15 min walk to the post office up the street. We were in a smoking room so it was kinda musty but that was my fault for booking a smoking room. Free breakfast was decent but I like my eggs actually cooked. (Runnnnnnnnnnnnnnyyyyyy) overall I can't complain. Room was great for the price!
