“Great Inexpensive Hotel in Kelowna”

The staff was great. The location was great. And for what it is, the hotel was great. This is not a high end hotel, but is a much better hotel than a lot that I have paid much more for. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We could walk to the hockey game, good restaurants, bars, a movie theater and a really nice park along the waterfront. I would recomend this hotel without a second thought. Thanks for a very nice stay.

Nightlife

Had a lot of fun watching a band at the Blue Gator. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

“Good hotel but tough parking”

They don't have reserved parking, so if parking is full when you get there you're out of luck! Kind of frustrating. There are only 8-10 parking stalls in the garage, then maybe 8-10 outside (in the back of the pub), they were all full when we arrived. Didn't get parking until our second day there. Power went out the day we left, so no continental breakfast, no lights in the stairwells (not even emerg lighting!) to get out, we had to use cell phones to climb down from third floor with our stuff. No effort to make up for lack of parking or power. BUT hotel was clean & comfortable, staff were friendly & helpful, and it was a great location & price. If power hadn't gone out (city problem, not the hotel's), only issue would have been parking.

Area recommendations

Go to the Wine Festival at the Rotary Club. So awesome! Make sure you check out Quail's Gate Winery, too, before you leave Kelowna.

“A pleasant place to stay.”

Close to the beach and local (not "big box") restaurants and coffee shops. Clean comfortable room, quiet during our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

“Wonderful location”

The location of the hotel was very convenient, It is close to all of the downtown Kelowna parks, beaches and shops. The staff is also knowledgeable about the surroundings and always read to help. There is no pool but they do have a sauna. overall you get what you pay for.

“Lovely Stay at Kelowna's Waterfront”

We will be back. Though the hotel has no pool, it is half a block away from the lake. Situated in quaint downtown area we had tons of wonderful little unique restaurants and snackbars to choose from. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

“Noisy”

The hotel was in good condition, excellent location and clean. We called the front desk since there were parties on the floor all night and they didn't do anything about it. In the morning we went to the front desk and were told it wasn't reported to them.

“Great Location, Incredible Staff, good breakfast!”

After spending the long weekend houseboating, my friends and I were very excited to check into our hotel and take long showers. We showed up early, and the wonderful girl at the front desk apologized, but said our room was not ready. She quickly took all of our bags and let us know she would get us in as soon as possible! That was just the start of great customer service throughout our stay! Rooms are a decent size, very clean and comfortable. The location is ideal, two blocks to City Park, and the beach of Kelowna, and you are surrounded by pubs, bars, restaurants, ice cream shops and shopping. We were extremely happy with the location. As mentioned it can be loud if you face Bernard st., as it is a very happening place. The free breakfast was fully stocked, and always had a staff member there refilling it and cleaning it up. It was a great selection. Overall extremely happy with the hotel! Some of the best service we had in a long time! They store luggage for us, called us an airport service and they were great! I strongly recommend it to everyone!
