“not impressed”

If your into bar room brawls this is the place for you. NOT a family enviroment. Way over priced.

“Beautiful Sunrise”

excellent area to get up early and see the sun rise over the ocean. Really good food nearby. the Hotel itself is not really a stay in all day place. It's a nice price for a bed/bathroom then get out and go. would be nice if the pool were heated during the fall if you have kids or need a pool to get into that is not bone chilling cold. Easy access to fun.

“Not really beachfront”

When I booked the hotel it said beachfront, when I got there I understood they forgot to mention the fact that there is a 150 yard long public parking lot between the hotel and the beach. Aside from that there is not enough parking in the hotel so you have to park in a small parking lot in a back alley 2 blocks from the hotel. The room was small, clean, nothing out of the ordinary, but for the price I expected a little more. I must say the staff was very nice and courteous and even let us make a late check out.

Area recommendations
Ogunquit is a very nice town with a lot of small hotels, stores and restaurants I would definitely recommend visiting this part of the beach. Also the nubble light house in York is extremely nice.
Getting around
Get a GPS or a good map of the area, the streets are very small and confusing, many without name signs
