“Convenient - needs to add wifi!”

“Decent Hotel.”

this Hotel was alright. The staff was friendly and the bar in the hotel was a good sports place, however the surrounding area was not very nice and appealing. we were there for a sporting event and it was only for 2 nites. If people are only coming for a couple of days it would be fine, but the area isn,t where I would stay at if I was on vacation.

I don't know the city or the surrounding areas very well.

This particular area is great for a professional sporting event. Everything is close and there is shuttle service, although we had to wait over 30min. for our shuttle pick up after our sporting event.

“Comfortable, Clean, Convenient.”

We got in late, but were greeted with gracious hospitality--kind and helpful staff. We enjoyed a spacious, lovely, and very comfortable room. (the beds were great!) Thoughtful details and extras in the bathroom. The 24hr workout room was nice too. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the open late sports bar on site. Everything was clean and updated. We also liked the location close to the rental car return. If we are in the area again I would stay at this hotel.

“Best location”

This hotel is in the best location for concerts or sporting events. The hotel has a shuttle service to take you there and back as well as the airport. The hotel was a nice place to stay, although the room was a bit tired looking for the price. The standouts were the front desk staff and the grounds.

Didn't get past the Oracle Arena.

“Excellent hotel. Would definetely stay there again!”

Although older hotel, kept in very good condition. Service was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. My only objection was the excessive parking rates, and no proration for hours short of a day; would probably park somewhere else next time.

Area recommendations

Neighborhood surrounding this hotel seemed to be fine, from what we saw of it. All people were very friendly in any stores or restuarants we visited.

“Dirty bathroom, rundown hotel”

This was our first night of our honeymoon vacation... although it was just to tide us over for the night till our trip to Napa the next morning (MUCH better than Oakland!), I guess I thought a Hilton should have been nicer than this. Our bathtub walls had hair all over them. Really Hilton?! It was gross, to put it mildly. The bedroom was dank and musty-smelling. The decor was clearly straight out of 1987. This hotel is in dire need of a renovation.

Area recommendations

Across the bay in San Francisco, or drive an hour north to Napa Valley. MUCH, MUCH prettier/nicer/cleaner than Oakland was, in our opinion.
