“Good for the price”

I priced several hotels in the area and found this one to be the best rate. The hotel was very nice and clean. I paid extra for a city view room which was lovely over looking the bay. The only down side was the room was very small. I am an average sized person and just had enough room to walk comfortably between the bed and TV stand. The bathroom was tiny as well I could barely get the door shut without standing in the tub. I would stay here again if I were still on a budget.

“Very friendly hotel with lovely rooms”

I chose the hotel because it was close to Emeryville train station and I had an early train to catch. I probably wouldn't stay in the area otherwise, but I was pleasantly suprised by the warmth of the welcome I received, and my room was large and very well equipped. The free WiFi was also very welcome.

“pretty pricey, but nice place”

the room was a little small. i was expecting bigger for what i was paying. but the room was clean and the staff was nice. everything close by so very convenient.

“Nice”

The Asian ladies at the front desk were not really that friendly. A smile would have been nice. Felt they just wanted to quickly check us in. They never asked us if we preferred a high or low floor; a view or no view, etc. In that sense, the service was not all that great. The Asian maid was VERY GOOD though!

“4 Point Sheraton Emeryville”

Very nice. Well maintained. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Well located-close to SF, Oakland and Berkeley. If you ask for the Bay side, you get a great view of SF. Only complain is the bathroom was a bit small. Other than that, it was a good choice.
