We loved the property. The food was delicious but pricey. The views were amazing but you had to cross the street to get to the beach. It was convenient to everything, so it was a busy area.

Very beautiful interior with plenty of shops and a coffee shop within the hotel area. The room was a good size. There are 40 floors and 4 elevators so you dont have to wait long. It is located right next to the beach and access is simple.

Shopping and surrounding areas were great.The inside rooms could use a little care. The vanity showed signs of wear & tear. The paint was chipped off of the drawers by the tv stand. Inside the restroom the molding on the bottom was worn. It is in a great location and the staff were efficient and friendly.

While I do think they should have informed guests they were hosting prom at the ballroom so parking would be full, I appreciate the staff’s willingness to compensate for the inconvenience. We didn’t even have to mention it. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! We will definitely be back for another staycation.

Nice hotel! Right where you want to be if you want to shop, dine, or visit Waikiki beach. Hotel did charge us for beach towels that we used. Did not know about this when we checked in. Service great! Daily housekeeping available for sand and kids. I would suggest renovating their elevator situation. We would wait 15-20 min for one. Besides that great stay!! Aloha!! 🌈

The Hyatt Regency was a very nice hotel. Across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable.

I have been to Waikiki three times now and The Hyatt Regency was by FAR my favorite stay. It is literally across the street from the beach, the amenities were awesome. I can't say enough about this hotel! It's the little things for me, being in a hot sundrenched area, the fact that they provide refillavle water bottles with ice and water machines on every floor was beyond convenient. I'm a water snob so I appreciated the quality filtered water over tap, it was so convenient and honestly tasted better than the bottled water I bought at the store. They let you get free towels from their machine and return them everyday so you don't have to worry about reusing the same soggy beach towel everyday. I'll be staying here for all our future trips!!!

We had an ocean front room, and it was definitely worth the extra money! Was convenient to shops and dining. Was definitely packed in and all around the hotel with a lot of people, which is to be expected since this hotel has so many rooms with two towers. The area is a very touristy area, so if you are ok with a ton of people, this hotel is perfect! The beach right in front of the hotel was extremely packed all the time. Hard to swim and snorkel. But the hotel over all itself was great! Staff was fantastic! Room was clean, but average. We got a roll away bed for $35/ night, so that was nice. We would stay here again if we wanted that busy city feel!

The jacuzzi was old and the jets in the jacuzzi were weak. Kids were allowed in the pool and jacuzzi all hours of the night which made it hard to relax. Other than that the place was nice.

The parking is very inconvenient. I’m handicapped and I to park across the street and pray that you find a decent parking space, while the first five floors are for valet parking only. You enter the property find ground level, walk to the other end to the elevator to go to the 2nd floor to check in, then you have to walk to the other side to get the elevator to get to your room. The view and room was beautiful - but parking and the elevators suck.

Little things like keeping toilet paper, tissues, soap, other essentials always in good supply makes such a difference. Excellent daily housekeeping. Liked the filtered water station on the third floor. The activities eg free ukulele lessons were an added bonus. Pricey but delicious dinner buffets!

Great location right across the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Unlimited clean towels service. You can also borrow beach chairs and toys from the hotel.

This was my third stay at Hyatt Regency. The location is great! It’s walkable to many restaurants and shops. The rooms are big and the beds are super comfy. They updated the toilets since our last stay in 2022. Each room has a balcony with an ocean or mountain view. Things that can be improved are soundproofing the rooms. The balcony windows are quite thin. If your neighbors are outside, you can hear them. We could also hear music blaring from the street and we were on the 22nd floor. There was some loud talking coming from the hallway but luckily it was only on our last night at Hyatt. Staff are friendly and always smiling. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose Hyatt Regency if we return to Honolulu.

Staff were rude and did not communicate for over 48 hrs that our bag had arrived from the airport. Staff were short in regards to allowing us to use robes due to our lost luggage and were not polite due to late check in

We stayed here 2 years ago it was great. Restuarants change to 84.00 each all you can eat But took away the really good food. We rebooked because of the food and convience. House keeping was very poor no one vacuumed they didn't clean the room or the bathrooms unless you left them directions on paper. My wife who was a house keeper said don't tip they can't clean properly the mirror was dirty for 3 days and know one cleaned it. We ask to have the bedding changed and there was either blood or lipstick on the pillow caseafter they changed it, again not sure what laundry gets done. Next time when we go back to Hawaii we will stay at a different Hotel 1 star only. Ed & Misty Fraser 3/25/2024
