Best hotel with a beach front property

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: May be improving the food in the luau. it's a little too expensive for the price to get that kind of food.
Location: The location is close to everything you want to do.
Very happy with the everything the hotel offered .

Even though there's lots of renovations going on at reception, checkin was fast & efficient .... Staff were awesome, place was great & being on the beach made it!

Basic Resort Hotel

Posted 24-Aug-2014
Pros: Walking distance to the strip and Ala Moana
The two rooms provided may have been the worst in the resort noting the site construction underway between 8am - 5pm every day. It is a resort with perhaps 5,000 people. If this is what you like, enjoy! The man-made lagoon is close to putrid. I would not recommend putting your head under water.

Beautiful resort with lots to do

Posted 24-Aug-2014
We loved this resort. It's like a small village with lots of shopping, restaurants, pools, and beach front! The gardens are lush and well kept. I felt like I was in a small paradise. Lots to do within walking distance!

Large and busy

Posted 22-Aug-2014
Pros: Lagoon, beach, pools, Ali'i Tower pool area, CJ's
Cons: Service, food at restaurants
Location: Beautiful beach/lagoon. 10 minute walk to Central Waikiki, many shops & restaurants. In opposite direction, 10 minute walk to Ala Moana Shop Centre.
Resort was at full capacity during our stay and you could tell. Queues for everything except at the juice outlet. Pools full. Service was quite poor. Even with queues, staff didn't seem to be in a hurry or get additional staff to help. Fireworks great on Friday nights. Stay in Ali'i Tower and tower guests have own pool and bar area overlooking beach. Excellent, much quieter and able to get a pool chair. Good resort for kids with variety of pools, slides, beach and lagoon.

Hotel close to the beach

Posted 20-Aug-2014
Pros: The rooms were nice.
Cons: The restaurant service and wait time and the view.
Location: You can walk to decent restaurants that have better food and are not so high priced. The army museum is closeby.
The restaurants on the hotel site were too expensive and we had to wait too long to be seated even though there were empty tables. The service was not good. The hotel was way too big and the beach was very rocky. Our view was of the rooftop of the garage parking. Everything we booked with Expedia was poor-Tours did not pick us up when we were scheduled, American Airlines Eagle Service and airport facilities were dirty, our seats were changed at the last minute, literally, and we were put in the very first seats where the armrests took at least four inches out of each seat-we could barely fit, it was extremely uncomfortable. The swimming pools were often overfilled with no place to sit.

Beach Front IfResort

Posted 15-Aug-2014
Pros: The view from our balcony was Diamond Head and Wakiki Beach!
Cons: Food is not top notch.
Location: Oahu is a small island, so everything is within an hours drive. Go to Pearl Harbor (a must), Dole Plantation, Polynesian Village, Sea Life Park, etc.
If you are looking for a beautiful experience stay at the Hilton Village on Wakiki Beach. Courteous and Friendly staff, very nice rooms, five pools and a beautiful beach...it is a little slicer of paradise.
