“Good place to "stay the night"”
We were gone the entire day for each of the two days we days at the Coconut Waikiki. The rooms are relatively small but efficient. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The complimentary breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, toast, jelly and fruit. Quite sufficient to "eat and run." It is only about 3 blocks from a shopping/restaurant area. Tour bus pickup was within a short walkiing distance. Overall, very satisfied.
“It is all about breakfast”
Incredibly, the juice was watered down beyond belief and the coffee was barely warm. My other 'need' is a hot bath and the bathtub only holds about 10 inches of water.....oh well, keep looking.
“Great location!”
Great location! Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Hotel staff was friendly and the room was comfortable.
“Good deal”
I was satisfied - good value for money, although breakfast is very basic, rooms small but OK, clean.
“Staff was Uber-Helpful!!!”
The staff moved our room to the opposite side of the building b/c we had picked the city-view choice and it was noisier at night. They offered to help us move. Later in the week when we ordered out a pizza, they brought up napkins to our room b/c the delivery guy had forgotten them. They could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was consistently good.
“Value and comfort”
Staff = 5/5 (friendly, courteous, accommodation) Location = 4.5/5 (only 5 minutes to the beach, 1 minute to TheBus stop) Room = 4/5 (just slightly on the small side, but modern, clean, comfortable and well furnished) Breakfast = 3/5 (very basic) Highly recommended if you don't have to be right on the beach.
“Very nice”
Decent breakfast, parking was $24 per night - ouch!- didn't know about that one. Air conditioning unit blew up inside the curtains. If you opened the curtains, the apartments across from our room had a perfect view. TV was off to the right so it was slightly awkward to watch.
“Nice relaxing stay with good Mountain View”
Nice little hotel close to Waikiki beach area at extremely good rate. Rooms are a little small but since we intended to not spend much time in the room anyway, that was not an issue. The hotel staff was quite courteous and helpful. Overall we had a pleasant stay for 3 nights in a room overlooking the mountains.
“Good Staff, friendly, helpfull”
1. first room was too small for us. told staff and they were able to upgrade us to another room. Thank you. 2. comes with extended continental breakfast, but get there early as it runs out. 3. Beds were comfortable and clean. 4. view wasn't good at all. too close to apt buildings. 5. Parking was too expensive. should have special rates for guest.. Other than that, for the money it was okey. the bus stops are 1/2 a block away, and from there you can go anywhere on the Island. Walking distance to many places in waikiki. good luck on your stay. Mahalo.
“A walk to the beach, but all else is great.”
friendly staff. clean room with nice bed. close to all the action. Senor Frogs and Moose McGuilliguddys both near by which is convenient to have 2 poppin party spots close by for those drunken late nights. about a 15 minute walk to beach(about 3 blocks away), but i didn't mind. Helps burn all the food I ate.
