“Nice Hotel in the Perfect Location”
We've stayed in a lot of different places in Waikiki and this is our new favorite. The room is immaculately clean, newly refurnished, flat panel TV, new linens, refrigerator that actually works. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Parking is available at about half the cost of other Waikiki hotels. The rooms are rather small, but not as small as a cruise ship cabin. The size was perfect for us. The shower and bathroom facilities were new and quite modern. The hotel is right across the street from the hula show and Waikiki Beach. It is walking distance from everywhere in Waikiki including the International Market but far enough away to be quiet at night. The B bus stops right across the street. A breakfast restaurant opened the day we departed so we didn't get to try it. The room price is reasonable. We have become big Aston fans as a result of this stay and we'll be back.
“Nice budget hotel with clean small rooms and a great location”
This hotel is fine if you are looking for a small clean budget hotel. The location is terrific and the staff is helpful. The coffee house has good fast service and the portions are adequate. This is not the a high end resort so remember that when you book it. Also, there is no wireless internet just two pc's downstairs which you pay to use and is very inconvenient. Rooms are decorated well and all have flat screens with refrigerators.
“Great location”
This hotel is conveniently located and the best part, directly across the street from the beach. The rooms are not square or rectangularly shaped and therefore feel a little small, but not bad. Beds are extremely confortable. We had a room on the 11th floor and the wind was horrible - ask for the east side of the building or ocean front if you want to use the lanai. We had a partial ocean view room. I would recommend this hotel -- prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
“location, location”
Rate was reasonable for the location, across the street from the Waikiki beach. Rooms are not big, but clean with a small ice box.. This is a no thrill hotel, but the staff works very hard. The Beach towels, ice, extra linen or towels are handed out at the desk. No restaurants on site, but a lot just steps away including a McDonalds next door. on site Parking is limited @ $15 with in & out . A supply of floats and rafts are available to borrow. We spend each morning at the beach, walk across the street to our room, showered and changed, then rode out to the sites. Return late in the afternoon, changed and out to the beach again. Walk across the street, clean up and planned for dinner, show or shopping.
“Beach across the street”
Decent hotel - rooms very small - maintence issues - bad view over parking lot. Staff was friendly - beach across street which was great - not bad but think could find better room for price.
“Great time!”
Great location! No need to rent a car! Room was small, but clean. We would have loved a coffee pot in the room, but they did have coffee available in the lobby for a few hours. A well known breakfast restaurant is soon opening on the first floor of the hotel. This will be a big plus. We would stay there again!
“Excellent location...”
My husband and I stayed at the Circle in 2005, and really liked its location as it was close to everything. This time around, we picked the Circle again and were pleasantly surprised that they had done major renovation not so long ago. Our room was on the 9th floor and had a commanding view of the beach. The downside is it only has a mini fridge, and no microwave, nor kettle, although coffee is served from 6-9 am. All in all, we'll stay at the Circle again for our next visit.
“The Circle”
This hotel is a little above standards for the value. It is a rock toss to the beach, and not in a bad area. Downfalls included internet access not being included, had to pay to use and I think the only bed option is two twin's and the shower was dinky. Again, I didn't come to Hawaii to lounge around the hotel so it was more than enough for me. But I must say we paid for a partial ocean view and it was comparable to a lot of so called ocean views.
“Great place! Going back there!”
This is my second time there, the first one was ok, because of the rooms, but now I was in a completely remodeled one, partial ocean view and for a great price!! Definitely there's nothing like staying right across the street from waikiki!! Recommendable 100% if your priority is "location"!
“Waikiki's Best Bargain!”
We have been to Hawaii several times, but this was our first stay at the Waikiki Circle Hotel. We would recommend this hotel completely. The rooms have been recently updated and are fresh and new. The bathroom, the beds, the carpeting, and the balcony were all extraordinary. The view from the balcony was superb. The layout of the room is very convenient with a seperate dressing area. The location of this hotel is the best on Waikiki. There are many stores and restaurants close by and the beach is right there. The hotel even offers complimentary boogie board use which saved us a lot of money. Be sure to stay at Waikiki's Best Bargain!!
