This was a amazing trip for my seven year old daughter, my wife who is has cancer, and myself. Once we arrived we were treated very well and all the staff were so friendly and super nice. The location of the resort is perfect place within the lagoon. The water is crystal clear and has lots of fish visiting your over the water bungalow. We will like to go again some time down the road but we need to save up for the next trip to the most beautiful location in the world.
Our stay at the Hilton Nui Resort was just perfect! This place is beyond beautiful! We stayed in one of the overwater bungalows. This is the best! The room was gorgeous; we had our own private deck and pontoon with a direct access to the water. We could swim and snorkel right off our bungalow. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The transportation could not have been better: from the transfer from and to the airport, to the shuttles to take you to Vaitape during the day for a little shopping or at night for a diner out. Always on time, very convenient and free! The resort offers many activities. We toured the lagoon with Jet-ski, we had a blast! The resort features three restaurants on premises, all excellent! We also went out for diner. We just called the reception desk they organized everything for us! I highly recommend this resort. We were touring several islands in French Polynesia and wished we had planned to stay longer at the Hilton Nui Resort in Bora-Bora!

Exceptional service from the staff. Great place to stay on the main island.
Outside of activies who pick you up from the hotel there are about 3 opportunities a day to get to the main town. The shuttle buses do cost however the staff are great and the hotel is a comfortable base on the main island. I would definitely recommend it.
I split my time between Mai Tai and a high end luxury resort. A great way to get the best if both worlds.

I was very happy with our choice of the Intercontinental Le Moana hotel for our stay in Bora Bora. We booked a horizon overwater bungalow (the ones farthest out--although, we booked on Expedia so we got the closest-in one of those...but it was still a very nice location). The bungalows at this Intercontinental aren't as big as the ones at the Thalasso, but I thought they were a very comfortable size (king bed, sitting area and desk, very large & modern bathrooms. The decor is very nice and feels authentic island (thatched roofs, etc). The balconies have an upper and lower deck and a ladder into the water.
One great thing about this hotel is that it's on the southern tip of the main island and thus has a very large lagoon (the water is only 2-feet deep all the way out to the last bungalow--a good 100 yards). In addition, there is a lot of coral throughout the lagoon that attract hundreds of tropical fish. Each overwater bungalow has its own coral garden below a glass table (most other hotels have the glass-bottom table but no coral to attract the fish; in fact, most don't even have lagoons to speak of). The hotel has snorkel gear, kayaks, and paddleboards available for guest use.
The staff was another highlight--everyone is very helpful and friendly, and the concierge happily took care of setting up any activities we wanted to do. The hotel did an excellent job of creating exactly the relaxing, stress-free vacation we were looking for.

It's such a beautiful resort with excellent management and staff. Bora Bora is an amazing place that absolutely worth it. Le Meridien is also amazing that I highly recommend it. I suggest to use the hotel taxi for round trip which they take care of all the lauggages and timing for you. It's expensive in Bora Bora, no other way around it so might as well enjoy every moment than wasting time try to save some money! It is definitely worth every penny. My wife and I were truly happy about the hotel. The hotel has all the snorkling gear and toys plus they have free kayak, pedal boat and sail boat with a captin. The sail boat is a must try!!!! Capatin Gerlam (not sure about the spelling) is super nice or I should say perfect!
We've been to Hawaii few times, staying at different 5 star hotels, and Le Meridien definitely is a 5 star hotel. I have to say thank you to the management for doing such a fabulous job to make our proposing anniversary vacation so unforgettable :)
Had an overwater bungalow. Went there thinking there is no way this place could look as nice as the photos, but I was wrong it was even better. The staff was excellent, like most of French Polynesia the food was just okay.

The entire experience was extremely enjoyable. All staff members were friendly and accommodating with a desire to make guests' stays as comfortable as possible. The facilities such as the gym, spa, and pool were all meticulously cleaned and very presentable. The overwater villa we stayed in was large and very comfortable. It had beautiful views of the lagoon and mountains. The concierge is proactive in contacting you to ensure you have dinner reservations. They also are helpful in scheduling a number of available activities at the hotel such as jet skiing, spa visits, and snorkeling trips.
