"One of the BEST resorts in the area on the beach!"
Most luxurious hotel I've stayed in! Check-in started with a drink and free massage. Everything was very clean (water purified), staff extremely helpful, food was above and beyond amazing (eating at Piaf is a MUST) Beach is a little rocky if you go more than knee deep high according to staff, but the resort is in a beautiful area. Loved the pool and our private hot tub on the roof. Last night we found our room covered with rose petals, bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate dip with strawberries. Great for romantic couples!
We knew as soon as we entered that we'd hit the jackpot! The hotel was beautiful. All the staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to grant our requests. Check in could have been much quicker except they whisked us off to Brunello Wine Bar to welcome us and pitch their timeshare options. Once that was over, we settled in our room which was fantastic. We booked a 2 bedroom with demi pool residence and were so glad to have access to our own part of their lazy river. It beat having to go down to the main pool. We highly recommend it! The food at Omaggio (the Sunday brunch) was superb! This included their service. Insu Sky Lounge was fun. It rained that day and since it's an open restaurant and small, all the tables needed to be relocated. The sister resort offered a great buffet at CasaBella and was just a quick short ride away. The staff would take us over anytime we needed and there was not a wait for the shuttle. We opted for the City Tour and felt it was such a fun and great way to learn about Puerto Vallarta's history and see the land. Miguel and Juanito were absolutely amazing as our tour guide and driver. The large coach bus was perfect for the day and allowed trips to the church, shops, flea market, Tequila grounds, and a quaint little restaurant along the way. Overall, this place was terrific and we would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to vacation in Puerto Vallarta. Still dreaming about it now....
Overall hotel is 5/5 but the stuff behavior is not up to the mark. Especially one of the front desk representative was very very rude even when the mistake was at hotel's end.
I reach hotel at 2:30 pm for check in. Room wasnt ready by the and they asked us to wait for 30 min. By 3pm they requested us to take lunch so that they can finish the room cleaning but when we came back at 3:45 the room wasnt ready yet. Front desk representative was such a non sense person that he said we only guarantee check in by 3pm but we dont guarantee that your room will be ready. With a very rude behavior he said at 4pm that you room will be ready in next 20 min. But then we contacted manager on duty and she changed our room and gave us another one which was ready. Apart from this bad experience hotel is superb.
Our stay was pleasant. The food and service were good at the buffet and the Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed the beach and the use of the boogie boards and kayaks. If your guests are on vacation the restaurants/ buffet should reflect those hours. Don't stop serving breakfast at 10:30! If I'm in an all inclusive hotel why am I being given the upgrade of a better meal for a fee? Charge for it upfront and offer it to all your guests. After all that's why we chose an all inclusive!
I just returned from a 4 day stay at Villa Estancia where I went with my two young kids, husband, and mother. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. We especially liked the use of the neighbor resort, the Flamingo, which offered many pool activities that catered to kids and the pristine beach.

This was the first time taking all the children out to Mexico. They could not have enjoyed it more. The staff was great, our house keeper (Esmeralda) was great! Shopping mall and grocery store was at walking distance.
The resort is a family-friendly hotel and we were the only non-Mexicans at the resort (which was awesome). The cafeteria food had a lot to be desired, but we made reservations for the Mexican and Italian restaurants and they were BOMB. The staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating. The floors in the rooms were tile, which at first threw me off, but I ended up liking it because it was nice and cool, and the cleaning staff kept it incredibly clean every day. There were a lot of great activities and fun things for kids to do, and I liked the family-friendly atmosphere. Almost everyone there had kids, and there is absolutely no night life, so don't come to the hotel if you just want to get drunk and party. The drinks were good and the bartenders were always willing to make interesting things for us. There were always PLENTY of lounge chairs in the shade so we were never stuck without a place to sit (even when we got there later in the morning or afternoon). I suggest reserving the Mexican and Italian restaurants as often as you can, and spend your days sitting under the shade right on the beach in the cool air.
