Prima, ook voor 1 nacht

Posted 04-Sep-2014
Prima service.

GOOD HOTEL LET DOWN BY OVERHEATED RESTAURANT/BAR

Posted 02-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
Our family took advantage of the competitive weekend rate and good location of this hotel close to Calais before returning home at end of our holiday. The room was perfect for us but our whole experience was marred because it was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant and bar. The ceilings in these areas are low and the lights create much heat. Although we complained a couple of times to staff who agreed with us they did not adjust the air conditioning. I had to leave my meal half eaten as I was so uncomfortable. This was a pity because it spoiled our stay. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant which was lovely as it air conditioning had been switched on!

Stopover on way back to Calais

Posted 02-Sep-2014
Pros: Location, Pool and Value.
Location: Lots of restaurants to choose from.
Stopped over one night. Always pleased with Novotel hotels in France. Pool is always a nice touch after a long drive. Great value for money especially with a 5 and 8 year old. Great location next to restaurant's and shopping centre. Just under 1 hours drive to Channel Tunnel.

Great hotel

Posted 31-Aug-2014
Great for a stop over on the way to Calais. Not far from the motorway. About an hour and a half away from the Eurotunnel. Great shopping centre over the road with a couple of restaurants and supermarket.

Awesome hotel and awesome value

Posted 27-Aug-2014
Pros: Everything. The room, the price, the staff.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Location: Restaurants close by, though as usual the French road networks make it difficult to navigate on foot (not the hotel's fault!)
I'm not sure if we fluked some special offer, but the price was amazing for the family room we had. After struggling at short notice to find ANY family rooms available in any of the hotel chains, I had resigned myself to paying for 2 rooms, then found this. The room was great, all facilities you would need, and perfect for a family of 4. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to several restaurants, plus the hotel one. Can't fault it really.

Good location for access to highways

Posted 24-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean and tidy, but could do with some decoration. Great location for a stop over as close to main highways and shopping park.

Good hotel, but a bit tired

Posted 22-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
Overall good hotel but it all needed a good re-decorate. It just felt a bit well used and tired. Clean though, no real complaints

Great stop off

Posted 22-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
Stopped here on the way to the south of France. Lovely little hotel almost like a good uk Travelodge. Seems to be a regular place to stop off at after the crossing from Calais. Hotel itself is perfectly located of the motorway easy to find etc. Rooms are comfy enough for the family 2 adults plus 4/7 yo, very clean, fridge and bottle of water. Breakfast was busy early on as you would expect on a stop over hotel but was good selection of continental and eggs, bacon and sausages. A good start to a days travelling. Only comment is that its a small bar area and very expense at $7.20 for a pint of Heineken. And there is no lift for luggage but they do have trolleys to help empty the car which I thought was a nice touch. For the money would not hesitate booking again for my next french / Euro trip.
