The Nottingham Belfry has two dining choices for you. The Laurance Restaurant has a menu which will tickle your taste buds, making you want more and more! DH Lawrence was the inspiration for the name but the inspiration in the food comes courtesy of Chef Craig French. He carefully sources the best regional and local produce to create his culinary wonders. A clever chap is Craig. His original menu offers a range of dishes to suit the most simple or refined of palates. For a more relaxed affair Oaks Bar and Lounge is crammed full of tempting snacks and light meals, the menu is as satisfying as the clean lines and airy feel of the bar. If you like to keep the laptop on while you have a snack then by all means as you receive free internet access throughout the hotel. If you want to sit back, put your favourite programme on TV then don't despair we offer a delicious 24-hour room service menu - just give us a call.

“situated in an east midlands industrial estate”

a four star hotel in an east midlands industrial estate plus you may want to take your own pillows as the ones the hotel supplies have had too many heads slepping on them.

“Well run hotel”

We stayed at the Nottingham Belfry on a Saturday evening in October as this was the venue for a 40th birthday party. The hotel is well run with sufficient staff on hand - especially at breakfast (quite a novelty when other hotels are cutting staff levels to the bone). The room and bathroom were both very clean, beautifully presented and a good size. We didn't have time to use the gym but I noted that there aren't many machines and it will probably get very crowded at peak times. The birthday was a great success and this was in part down to the lovely surroundings and helpful staff. We plan to visit Nottingham again next Jan and will definitely use this hotel.

“Great hotel + restaurant”

Excellent all round - comfortable, clean, helpful staff, fantastic dinner in restaurant, excellent pool etc & gym Only draw back (?) is that its several miles from the centre of Nottingham altho was close to J26 of M1 so easily accessible but not noisy

The Alley Cafe,Cannon Court, Smithy Row, Nottingham NG1 6JE up an alley not surprisingly, sort of opposite the Central Library in the centre of Nottingham, is a great vegetarian/vegan cafe & is also a bar + serves cocktails & music

“PEACEFUL HOTEL FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD”

Very modern hotel with very polite and helpful staffing. The hotel has a generous free car park and is roomy within all its common areas along with a very nice well equipped Spa. With regard to the restaurant only had breakfast there but the buffet was plentiful with choice, attentively look after and again the serving staff were very welcoming and helpful with a prompt service. The bar staff were also very friendly and in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

“Good city outskirts hotel”

Good hotel on the whole, housekeeping could do with being a bit more attentive in the bathrooms. Close to the M1 and right next to busy A road so glad I had my ear plugs as a light sleeper. Reception staff efficient and pleasant. Had dinner off a set menu in a section of the bar area as the restaurant was closed. Waiting staff attentive. Average/good food but nothing outstanding - added touch of a mouldy blackberry and blueberry on my dessert was different! Did get a couple of drinks knocked off the bill as a result. Another comedy touch when paying for the meal was blood on the receipt - mentioned it to the waitress on leaving - she hadn't realised she was bleeding and was very apologetic. Breakfast good with plenty of choice. Location on the outskirts of Nottingham but not far to the park and ride for the tram to get into the city so suited us.

“Highly reccomend”

As we were attending a wedding, we decided to go to the hotel and let them know we would not be arriving until late. This was not a problem and when we did arrive at the hotel, all registration was ready for us to sign. Excellent hotel and facilities, would recommend highly and looking forward to visiting other hotels in the group if their standards are equally as good

“perfect stay”

Just off junction 26 of the M1, easy to find and perfect for our stay to visit family in Nottingham. Hotel generally was superb and the service was excellent. Enjoyed the breakfasts and also ate in the restaurant in the evening where the food was lovely. We would definitely go back again!Must leave time to try out the pool and gym next time.

“Great Hotel - Perfect Location”

We stayed at the Nottingham Belfry as we were going to a concert in the centre of Nottingham. The hotel far exceeded our expectations, in terms of the room, welcoming/friendly staff and very good room service. Location of the hotel was very good. We had a brilliant time and look forward to visiting Nottingham again in the future!

“Better than your average hotel”

Although we just stayed one night, I was impressed with the hotels modern/retro layout. I felt a room of airness around the place, with plenty of sitting areas scattered all over the place. The staff were friendly, and they allowed us to have a takeaway delivered but we had to eat it in the room (I wasn't going to pay rip off pricr to the taxi's - around 8 pounds single trip to the city centre). Our takeway delivered cost only 10 pounds. I would definitely visit again.

Cheaper to order a Indian/other takeaway and eat in your room. Restraunt in the hotel is expensive.

“Excellant staff and facilities,great value !”

I couldn' fault this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious,breakfast was plentiful,the spa was great,and the staff were well trained and polite.

Go and dine at The World Service .Its fantastic! A car is necessary for the hotel as it is not centrally located
