Good hotel in center of Nottingham.

Good hotel in center of Nottingham. Friendly front desk. Clean hotel and good nights sleep. Will definitely use again. Parking was easy as they have preferential rates in a near by multi storey.

Central but not ideal

Small room, bit dated and extremely noisy. bar next door had music blaring out until the early hours and then had the bottle bank below my window being filled up - and then emptied by the refuse collectors.Staff very helpful but overall a disappointing experience although value for money.

Central city location, no on site parking

Posted 25-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
Not suitable for my requirements, in the morning at checkout staff smelt of smoke and seemed more intend on their conversation that responding to my standing at the front desk. Central location will suit some but not me on this occasion as i needed on site secure parking. They do have off site parking with a discount arrangement with the parking station but this is not what I would call the advertised on site parking.

Really great location right in the centre of Nottingham with the tram top just outside the door. Large spacious rooms, good customer service. would definitely stay again.

The shopping was very close with good activities around. The stuff were very helpful and so polite. But the weather was extremely hot in the room the A/C is very noisy and not effective at all. Also, it was impossible to open the window as it was very very noisy as the lively night around. Car Park was not available.

Handy for town facilities but tired

Posted 12-May-2014
Pros: Close to the city's facility
Cons: More helpful reception staff. Information about eating places when the hotel kitchens are closed. Some of the beds need to be reviewed
Location: Close to the theatre, tram stops etc
As a disabled person I wanted to know about disabled parking before my stay. I was told that the hotel car park was full (10 places available for a 90 bedroomed hotel) when I arrived I discovered that there was disabled parking outside the hotel and I was lucky enough to get one of these spaces. I asked at reception if there was a time limit on these spaces I was told that it was nothing to do with them and depended on the terms of my 'blue badge' All blue badges are the same and I would have expected reception staff to have known the answer to this question. The bed mattress was past its best and the sound of springs 'pinging' and feeling uncomfortable. After attending an event and arriving back at the hotel at 2110hrs I asked what eating options were available to me I was told "None" No further information about local restaurants was offered. Not what you expect from a hotel of this star rating. It seemed to me that some the desk staff need some training in how to helpful.

City centre great for going out but not so good for parking I if you drive a T5 Van, won't fit in car park.
