got entrance really quickly by friendly staff , only fault was the lift being out of order and being on the 6th floor (won't complain in need of the exercise) and it had been mentioned on other reviews so i wasn't too surprised location brill and the guy on reception helped me get my bearings by giving me directions room bathroom lounge and open plan kitchen where very tidy clean as was the utilitys views amazing loved my whole stay and i will be booking again but with the whole family (i only came with my daughter to see bruno mars at the arena ) would defo recommend these appartments location, cleanliness, staff and the views (check it out at dusk) and easily found walking from the train station as well as all the other sights castle trams etc and brill for shopping too

“Nice to stay in a city appartment.”

The appartments are lovely and clean with all of the home from home comforts. It is however worth noting that their lift doesn't go down to basement car park level and so it is quite a struggle up the flights of stairs from your car to reception with luggage and extra supplies that you may have brought with you to self cater. Reception is not 24 and so make sure that you have everything before they leave. We needed towels but the reception were very helpful and organised some for us.

The Apartment was really nice, well equipped, nice bed, bathroom. Clearly the apartment had been well used by party goers and some wear and tear is visible. There was a smell of stale vomit in the corridor which was unpleasant. Public areas could do with some improvement. Soundproofing isn't good, fortunately I didn't have noisy neighbours, it wouldn't be suitable for a romantic weekend as sound really does travel. There was a problem with the sensors on the lift buttons. More attention to detail is required with cleaning I would say, particularly as the apartments are not services during a two night stay, they should be sparkling clean on arrival.

We really liked the apartment, had everything we needed and we will definately book again as this offered EXCELLENT value for money. We've stayed in other city centre hotels and this beats the rest if you don't mind the self catering element - we preffered this.

“Good apartment”

My first impression on arrival wasn't good as the whole of the reception was a building site - the full length windows were being replaced, there was no one on reception so a fellow guest helped me with directions to the carpark and even went down and pressed the entrance button for me. Also had I known that there wasn't a lift from the car park I would have not had my elderly mother try to carry her case up to reception but left her in reception whilst I parked. However after these first difficulties the staff were very helpful and polite - when we found that we didn't have towels the receptionist made sure that had them when we returned from dinner. The apartment was lovely however it had obviously been used as a smoking room at some point as it smelled quite badly (even after I had the windows opened for several hours). There was also some kind of leak in the main bathroom which made it smell of damp. I would say that a welcome addition would be some cleaning materials for the kitchen so that you can wipe down the surfaces and wash up. Despite these issues I would still use the apartments again as they were central and good value for the size they are.

“A bit tired, but a goo spacious option”

This apartment hotel complex is not that old, but is not that well maintained either. However, the apartments are spacious, light, have good views, wifi (GBP 25 a week) and good TV channels. This is 2nd time Ive stayed there, in my opinion it is much better value than a hotel, and I like having the space. I can discount the slight poor build quality and dirty carpets for this! I would stay here again.

Had an enjoyable stay. Location convenient to town and local attractions.Good value for those on a budget. Only disapointment was that the carpets were very stained due to previous guest being very careless.
