Bedrooms at Lace Market Hotel in Nottingham are contemporary in style yet are in keeping with the historic building. Each one is individually designed, some with unique features such as free standing baths, local artwork or oversized Georgian windows and all with unbelievably comfortable beds. Many of the rooms have picturesque views over St Mary's Church, the Lace Market and Nottingham's Galleries of Justice. Lace Market Hotel offers 42 guestrooms in a 4-story property. Guestrooms are individually furnished. Linens include Egyptian cotton linens and premium bedding. 22-inches flat-panel televisions come with premium TV channels. “Perfect for a long or short stay”
The Lace Market hotel is located halfway between the train station and the town centre making it a perfect location for a long or short trip to Nottingham. You might get lost is the maze of hallways but once you get orintated to your room, things become easy. The rooms are small, but clean with good storage. The bathroom is large, about half the size of the room, clean, bright and with expesive products. The room has coffee/tea making and a TV with a DVD player. THe hotel offer DVDs to watch for free, the list is the Oscar Best Picture Winners for the last 50-odd years, the TV is tiny but your pretty close to it. The pub next door is connected on the inside to the hotel, offers good drinking, but light on for meals, unless you settle for pub hamburgers, and also offers room service for the hotel. Located right opposite the Crime and Punishment Musem, thers is loads to do all within walking distance. The City of Caves, natinoal ice centre and Nottingham Castle are a short walk, so is the main bus stop to anywhere in the area. Nottingham Castle is closed on Mondays, so plan around it, there's not point going to Nottingham without visiting the Sherieff.

“Charming Hotel”
Lace Market Hotel is a charming boutique hotel that was quite comfortable. The room was a little small but the bathroom was a nice size and had a wonderful shower and towel warmer. The location was great. There was a problem with wifi connection for part of our stay and the elevator didn't take us to the exact floor we needed so we had to drag our suitcases up or down a few stairs. Other than that, we were completely happy with the hotel.
“Not Impressed as I had hoped”
Scruffy round edges. Over heated in the room. Noisy from passing folks on way home after night out in town. Poor brekky included in deal - over priced. Over promised from website, under-delivered in experience.

Hotel had lots of charm and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
