“Good service but small bathroom”

The hotel is at the traffic lights so road noise can be a bit of a problem. All the staff are friendly and breakfast was good. The double bedroom was comfortable and towels were changed daily. The only downside was that the bathroom was so small. It was value for a couple of nights.

“'Disappointed'”

The entrance door was scruffy and un-inviting. The room with a bouble bed was very small so the wardrobe doors could not be opned because of the proximity to the bed. There were no screens on the window and the curtains would not close completely. The bathroom was cramped so it was not possible to put a bath mat bown outside the shower. The shower head holder was broken, so showering was awkward.

“Could be great, but . . .”

Positives: The staff is really friendly. The room size was perfect for my needs, the breakfast was great. Negatives: Noisy. The walls really are paper thin. I could hear people breathing in the room next door. The floors squeeked horribly, and even while playing an mp3 player I could here what was going on next door. If only 3 people are in the hotel why were they all in rooms next to each other. Bed, it took 3 days before the bed was actually comfortable. Don't know if I accilmated or the bed. If one could actually sleep in this hotel it would be perfect.

“NEVER AGAIN”

On booking this hotel at short notice and completing all the administration and payment online we knew there was a problem when we went back in and there was'nt a picture of the hotel itself !! Fair to say that it was in a rundown row of other hotels / bed and breakfasts and on arrival I noticed that from the front most of the curtains were still shut and this was at about 11am. It did'nt look very appealing at all. The inside did not inspire me at all. The hotel had a musty smell and when we arrived to book in after our work on asking if we could go to the bar for a drink we were told that the bar was shut and this would not be possible. There is a 1st time for everything. The room itself was not appealing in any way and the only consolation was that it was clean but had an awful smell like something I can only describe as Fabreeze air freshner.

“Economico ma ok”

Non aspettatevi chissa' che cosa, si ha quel che si paga... le stanze sono veramente piccole anche per gli standard inglesi. Pero' tutto sommato ci si puo' adattare.. la colazione e' MOLTO buona (chiedete quella "full English" !!) e non ho ravvisato i problemi di rumore rilevati dagli altri commentatori (forse hanno cambiato le finestre?? Sembravano nuove..). Lo staff e' disponibile ed il Wifi (almeno nella mia camera) prendeva bene.
