“End of holiday”
Good place for night's rest after flying in to East Midlands Airport. Leisure facility very good.
“Excellent value stay”
The people couldn't be nicer; the restaurants are good and the quality of the bed and furnishings very good. With the promotional deal, it was excellent value and I would stay again.
“lovely hotel, clean & friendly”
We went as a family of four (two young boys) and had a lovely time, the staff were very good with the kids. We found this hotel very good value. It is clean and the pool/fitness facilities were very good. Enjoy !

Overall a good experience Good price via Expedia Excellent leisure facilities, comfortable room although warm (you can apparently ask for the window locks to be taken off) good breakfast, helpful staff Hotel next to a good retail park @5miles out of Nottingham centre Small negatives - corridors on 1st floor were dirty when we arrived + paintwork starting to look slightly worn in places
“Good hotel overall”
This is a hotel convenient for Nottingham but not right in the centre, which is an advantage in terms of ambient noise. Guests should understand the culture in Nottingham surrounding hen and stag nights, which means that on Friday and Saturday nights most hotels are populated to a certain extent by guests attending such events, with concomitant noise levels. Having said that, the level of service here is very good. If you find your room too hot, do ask for the window restrainers to be unlocked, which makes a big difference!
“Lovely hotel & experiance - Would go back!!”
We wanted a hotel which was nice, reasonably price and most of all it having leisure facilities, i.e. swimming pool, sauna, steam room, massage treatment etc. This hotel had it all. Location was good with a nearby lake within walking distance which was open for tourists and we could feed the birds. Hotel was clean and rooms were lovely and modern. The leisure facilities were lovely and the massage was brilliant - however in the 2 days i was there, there was only a couple of appointments left so we were limited to what we could have done. The only negative factor which ruined it slightly was the our bedroom door handle had broken on our last night and therefore once we left the room, we couldnt get back in. I rang reception at approx 10pm to ask them to fix it to be informed by the receptionist (young male.. josh??) that there was nothing he could do and that if we wanted to go out - we had to leave the door on the latch (open) - which we found unacceptable and meant we could not go out. I reported this the next day & was told a manager would call me - but they have not yet. Other than that - the hotel was lovely & i would recommend it. I will definately be staying at village hotels around the country.
“A great experience”
It was the night of the Champions League final and the hotel bar was packed. I prefer not to eat in the restaurant alone and the staff were kind enough to allow me to eat in the restaurant bar area instead. The girl serving said that she was new but she extremely and gave great service despite being rushed off her feet. Room, food and everything was the best I've experience for this grade of hotel. My only (slight) gripe is that the hotel is a bit of a maze. If you need to stay near Nottingham then I recommend this hotel.
