“Great location”

Chose this hotel because of its location and close proximity to the theatres. It was ideal for a one night stopover at a budget price. We did not eat in the hotel but the menu and prices looked reasonable and about on par with other budget hotels. We would definately stay here again.

The hotel was in a good location near the town centre and rooms were spacious and clean- would recommend it to others.

Fairly easy to find. Decent breakfast that came free with our booking. Generally good service, with some staff a lot better at giving accurate directions than others, don't rely on one particular person-we nearly went very wrong!.. A good sized room with comfortable beds. A bit noisy on Friday/Saturday night inside and outside of hotel due to hen/stag does and general nights out but it's imaginable you get that everywhere being basically in the city centre near all the bars/pubs/clubs. Arrived in room with a light not working in bathroom and wasn't fixed during our stay even though we asked. Apart from that an all round good experience!

“Best value for money we had in U.K.”

Probably the best value for money hotel we stayed at in U.K. We were able to park car at hotel for 2 days for 20 pounds which we thought good value which as the hotel is situated in a very convenient part of town we were able to walk to the various places of interest. Shopping and restaurants were only 100 metres away. The amenities in hotel were excellent with ironing boards in the room which we always appreciate. Staff were very helpful also.

A spacious room with a large comfortable bed. Decor a bit dated, but everything was spotlessly clean.

|The hotel was a short cab ride form the station. My room was surprisingly large, & clean Staff helful at the desk. Good value on the advanced payment. Would return if I need a hotel in Nottingham

“Needs Improvement”

I stayed here for 2 nights (March 16 & 17). the location of the hotels was good & the service was fine. The room was fine, but the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was the worst that I have ever slept on, as it was very hard & you could feel the springs through the padding (what padding there was!). I feel that the bed let the whole hotel down, & I could not recommend this hotel until an impovement is made to the mattress. The breakfast was not included in the tariff but it was good.

“Good value and friendly but very awkward parking”

Overall the hotel fit my needs perfectly and for an excellent price. The lobby of the hotel is a little bleak but the receptionists very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The staff at breakfast were very welcoming and the breakfast excellent although perhaps a little overpriced. The room was well kept, not too dated and clean - basically at the better end of 'business' hotels. The only real downside was the lack of parking, there are only two 15min spots outside and a spattering of other disabled/loading/permit holder spots. To park overnight you need to use a covered car park about a quarter of a mile away at a negotiated night rate and standard day rates which can get quickly expensive.

“Excellent Value in Central Nottingham!”

We visited nottingham for several days through New Year's and were extremely pleased with our entire stay at Days Hotel. The front desk staff was always courteous and helpful, the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable(even the large bed), the restaurant was an excellent value thanks to Chef Matt and Hostess Jesse, free WiFi on teh first floor, and the location was excellent! 10-15 minute easy walk to Old Market Square, the Lace District, theatres, cinemas, shopping centers, Nottingham Castle, the central bus and train stations as well as pubs & restaurants too numerous to mention. There is even a very popular Chinese buffet adjacent to the hotel, as well as another(Peachykeen World Buffet) on the street parallel. Not sure about the negative reviews, but for the price this is certainly an ideal value! We would definately stay here again. Maria & Matt
