“Not impressed”
No hot water, no hot food my whole stay. I paid extra to stay at this hotel and couldn't even have a shower.

“Good but noise from ajoining room was a little unsettling!”
Spent a night in November at the Crowne Plaza hotel, was just what I needed shopping and my own company, the room was sadly lacking in the sound proofing department! I could hear in graphic detail, all the athletic activity going on complete with sound effects - most annoying at 5pm and definitly sleep depriving at 3.30am! Ask for a room away from the public!!!
“Small rooms but great location”
We stayed at this hotel as we were going to a gig at Rock City. What a great location! Just around the corner from the venue, and within 5 minutes walking distance of the shops and eateries in the centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the lifts wasn't working which was a bit of a pain but just one of those things. The rooms were smaller than expected but clean, impeccably furnished and had everything we needed. Great communal areas, late night bar (although expensive). Highly recommended!
“Convenient locaton”
Stayed for 3 nights. Nice pool with shallow area for children. Breafast is very expensive 16 GBP per person, buffet only (there is an option to include it in the room rate at check in for 10 GBP per person). Restaurant/Bar also expensive to eat and food so-so. Be cautious about wake up calls-our did not come 2 out of 3 mornings.
“Crown Plaza Nottingham,Great Location,Friendly Staff”
As a single traveller I find the Crown Plaza Nottingham very conveniently located,right in the centre of town.Once arrived you can leave the car in the attached carpark (cost for hotel Guests is 9.50) and the Tram's leave from just around the corner,there is also the music hall and a playhouse. The staff are most welcoming and very helpful. The leisure facilities (pool,sauna,jacizzi,gym and spa are a welcome plus), the bar and restaurant are attractive,however there are also many superb dining options close to the hotel. if you are staying with family or need a really quiet nights sleep, you must INSIST on a room to the front or high up,as there is a night venue (Rock City) at the back and the noise can be very loud (often until 4am!). Overall I can truly recommend the hotel and will stay again.
“Excellent City Hotel”
Very well city center located hotel with car parking (pay at reception special rate), shopping malls and theater's within 5mins walk. Hotel staff were very helpful in providing local information re restaurants etc.

The hotel has spacious, attractive public rooms, and good facilities, with a good-sized pool and fitness suite. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
