“Solid hotel near city centre”

This hotel did a very good job for one night. It was 20 mins from downtown. The room was comfy and clean, the TV was a bit fuzzy!! But not bad

“Gobsmacked... not impressed”

Accommodation and common areas reminded me of a really badly maintained old people's home. The photos supplied on their website are unbelievably flattering both in terms of content and angles used - my room (a 4th double) was narrow, with the bed touching 2 walls and complemented by badly matched furniture and a TV straight out of the 1990's. The bathroom was small but functional. Will never stay at another Best Western.

“Never Again, Lying staff”

I got woke up aroun 1-2 in the morning by someone a VERY loud and rattley cage trolley of some sort being moved around the car park, right outside my window ( i was on the ground floor . so, after being rather annoyed at being woken up, i didnt manage to get back to sleep again for 3-4 hours. So, i decided to complain, as the whole point of my stay was to get a good nights sleep so i was fresh for the next day. the girl on reception told me there was nobody to complain to as the manager wasnt in today, and Gave me his card. After saying i wanted to complain now rather than email later (as i figured it unlikey to hear anything) she piced up the phone and amazingly the same manager who wasnt in today walking in, i guess they are used to complaints so he just doesnt bother. i told him of my annoyance of being woken up, and he told me they dont have delieverys at that time, and it must have been kids messing around. i told him that kids would have been unlikely to be RETURNING a cage trolly to the rear of the hotel. but this did no good and just would not admit it happened. wont be going back
