My parents went there for their anniversary and they lived a great experience. Hotel personel was very kind and the hotel English style was much appreciated by my mother. Very good breakfast: I would suggest to take a Latte with bread and butter. Unique non positive part is most likely a too young receptionist failing to give the right room the first night: a quick call to the manager and he was really kind to move my parents to the room they booked.
In need of a bit of modernisation but otherwise clean. As we were there on the hottest days of the year they thankfully provided us with a fan for the room. Being the attic room the heat build up was extreme even noticeable as you ascended the stairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast choices
Pembridge Square is a quiet spot close to Notting Hill Gate and Queensway tube stops. Makes for easy connection to Heathrow. Hotel is small, typical of the area. Clean, but tiny single room. Not even room for a chair. Everything worked. "English Breakfast" now means orange juice, cornflakes, toast "white or "brown" and coffee. But it' s fine. I'd stay again and recommend it. Good value.

Blue Bells is a hotel of understated style, in keeping with its classic heritage and garden square view, located in the …More
good neighborhood. stores are near by but the room was extremely old, smelly and unsafe. the lock was easy to open, just a hard push on the door. the reception people were helpful and nice but the waiters at breakfast time just ruined the morning. I know yoi get what you pay for but i do not understand how this hotel has a 3 star rating. no ac and the tv and internet does not work
Great spot for the Notting Hill carnival.
Due to no airconditiong the apartment became very hot even with the windows open
After 4 weeks of travelling we were looking forward to doing some washing but the machine was broken (and took our money) which was annoying. Due to it being a bank holiday, no-one was available to come out and fix it...and all surrounding places were closed.
Our family of 3 exited the Holland tube station, turned left, and walked a few steps to The Nottinghill Guest House. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room which had every comfort we needed. The location is safe, the grocery store is a half block away, lovely Holland Park is a few minutes walk away, and all of London is easily accessible. The caring staff brought a sumptuous breakfast to our room each morning. We were asked if we needed assistance, wanted directions, or had any questions. Daily, towels were changed and trash was removed. Our experience was very positive as we were treated kindly and respectfully. Our London vacation was especially enjoyable because of our great satisfaction with The Nottinghill Guest House.
Made famous by the eponymous film, Notting Hill is an affluent cosmopolitan neighbourhood of large Victorian townhouses, high-class shopping and chic restaurants. Adjacent, Ladbroke Grove and Westbourne Park are grittier but still hip. Portobello Road is famous for its weekend market and antiques shops. Late August sees the Notting Hill Carnival, the largest Caribbean festival and biggest street party in Europe.
