Ramada Plaza North Glenn CO Review

Posted 10-Oct-2014
Pros: The staff at this hotel was very nice and willing to go the extra mile when needed.
Cons: The paint on the ceilings and walls in the room. We were in room 516 and it was a very spotty paint job.
Location: 15-20 mins from Lo-Do and a convenient location right off interstate 25.
The hotel was only 15 mins north of downtown DEN. The front desk rep., Matt, checked us in and welcomed us. All of the staff was superb; very accommodating. I work for an on-line travel company so customer service is important to me. The exterior of the hotel and parking were nice. The interior was clean; nothing luxurious but for a little over a hundred a night I wasn't expecting extreme elegance. The beds were comfortable and clean however, the paint job in the room was less than professional. It looked messy and rushed and therefore needs improvement. The free breakfast was delicious. Made to order omelets, hot food buffet, a make-your-own waffle station, cereal, toast etc. If they'd repaint their rooms I would definitely stay there again.

Dirty , smelly , broken shower

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Cleaning
I stayed at the Ramada Wednesday night. I arrived in the afternoon and went straight to my room. I had to to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to my room and the stairway smelled of cigarette smoke and urine. When I woke up the next morning , went to take a shower and the shower was all cracked and had water going into the walls. When I checked out , I told the girl at the counter of the problems and she apologized and said she would contact maintanence department. I was not offered any compensation for the conditions of any sort. I will not stay at a Ramada again.

Decent hotel, but nothing fancy

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean
Cons: Renovations that were actually improvements.
Hotel was outdated. "Upgrades" to the room like a microwave and mini-fridge were a joke. Mini fridge was set on top of a nightstand and in a 6 outlet plug.

SO SO - 3 Stars is a stretch

Posted 25-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
I have trouble agreeing this place is a three star. It is convenient, however, looks like it hasn't been remodeled since the 70's - when it was most-likely built! Smell of chlorine is all over the lobby. Just needs remodeled! Also needs cleaned...elevators grimy!

Pleasant but needs work.

Pleasant 3 day stay. Room was small but clean, king bed was comfortable, air conditioner worked fine though a bit noisy, shower plenty of pressure and lots of hot water. Breakfast bar also quite good with waffles and made to order omelets. That said this hotel definitely needs renovation and a lot of maintenance. Water stained ceiling tiles, loose towel bars, peeling ceiling texture, a huge gouge out of tub, noisy plumbing, non - working vending machines and a host of small items. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again for the price which was quite reasonable. With more and proper maintenance this could be a very nice place to stay, but at present only a 3.

Requested a non smoking room. Checked into my room to find it smelled heavily of smoke. I was traded rooms. The key to new room didn't work. The blanket on the bed was not clean. It had crusty stains on it. Service at the hotel restaurant was very very slow especially go being hardly any customers.

Nice Hotel-Covenient Location

Posted 17-Aug-2014
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was clean but in need of repairs (Crack around faucet in bath tub, Bathroom door would not latch, Odor in room (probably from air conditioner unit.) Breakfast was great each morning, but appeared to be understaffed as there were always lots of dirty dishes on empty tables and had difficulty finding table to sit at each morning. Did not make it to Damons to eat, but ordered up room service (Food was excellant.)
