“Dulles airport best hotel”

I have stayed at hotel on several occasions and each time I feel it is getting better and better. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, the resteraunt meals great and the staff very helpful and professional. When I travel,as a woman alone at this hotel, I feel comfortable and safe.

“Overall nice... BUT...”

DInner & bar service very nice.... Bartenders top notch... Breakfast Buffet service & food was COMPLETELY disappointing. Sure there were many choices, however - VERY VERY average quality food - eggs tasted like a powdered mix, stale bagels & bread, sausage & bacon not replenished so it was 'old & cold' & we were there at 8:30 am. I expected better food from a new Westin. Service was TERRIBLE. After initial coffee & juice served, no refills unless you went & found the server. Even other servers seating new customers & serving them coffee didn't bother with those already there - regardless if it was their station or not.... Isn't the customer supposed to be taken care of?. Servers too busy on 'break' or chatting in the 'butler' area to each other rather than paying attention to their stations & quality of service.. More & better customer service training definitely needed - Managers needed to supervise not socialize!

“Beautiful Hotel with Friendly Service”

The lobby is beautiful & the staff is extremely courteous. The room was spacious with warm decor. The hotel is in a business park with a lovely walking trail with a fountain. My room had a terrific view. No easy access to shops or restaurants.

“Good hotel. Bartender was good, but made too dirty of a martini.”

Not a great location since it was not near any decent restaurants, but for the a hotel near the airport it was really nice. Service staff was pleasent and the room was perfect.

“Exceeded expectations and great value!”

Excellent curb appeal. The front side faces a beautiful, lush green lawn and a huge fountain, with lots of deciduous trees surrounding. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Interior was clean and exquisite. Restaurant food had great selection and very fresh tasting. Rooms were spacious and clean. I very much enjoyed the Heavenly shower head; very relaxing. Not too big of a hotel, and very close proximity to Dulles Airport. Shuttle service is reliable and quick.

Area recommendations

Washington, D.C. - so many sights to see and so much history to learn about. Many monuments and great public transportation system. Lots of varied restaurants and retail shops in close proximity in Northern Virginia (Arlington).

“Nice, but....”

We stayed in 2 standard rooms here, it is pretty far from downtown DC but you couldn't beat the price! The staff was friendly, rooms were spacious, hotel itself seemed clean. One room we had was clean and comfortable, the other room we had I am sure was not properly clean. THere was used soap and shampoo in the shower and it only had 2 bath towels not 4 like the other room. The toliet paper didn't have the little folded piece at the end of it. We had also ordered room service (very overpriced) since we returned late. My chicken was not fully cooked and there was a 3$ delivery fee. Aside from those couple things, it was nice and worked for us.

“Great Hotel, Great Price”

An awesome deal of a hotel for people that need to stay around Dulles Airport or are visiting DC. Only 30 minutes from downtown DC. Staff was friendly and helpful.

“Perfect Weekend Getaway!”

We stayed at the Westin Washington Dulles the weekend of 9/23-9/25. There was a wedding going on in the hotel the weekend we were there. The staff was gratious and helpful and the hotel bar was hopping! Even with all the wedding guests, they were able to keep up with the influx of people easily. The lobby was always very lively and full of people just hanging out. I love that! It made for a great experience.

“Will use again on future trips”

All the hotel staff members were helpful,professional,and pleasant. The airport and the areas of the city i chose to visit were all within easy short drives. No complaints. Enjoyed my stay and certainly enjoyed Reston.

“Gala”

Was an amazing stay!! We stayed with kids they loved everything. Very friendly stuff:) very clean. And very big thing for me is the comfort of the bed, I was amazed and had a great sleep:)
