“nice quiet place”

motel was quieter than i expected being so close to the interstate, didn t hear a sound. staff was extremely friendly and helpfull room was clean and roomy, no complaints at all

“Good inexpensive choice”

The front desk staff--owners, I think--were very nice. The breakfast was surprisingly good--fresh bagels and muffins. Although we wound up in a smoking room, it really didn't smell bad at all--a first in my experience.

Motel was older. Room was clean. Little difficult to get to--center divider median. Cheap place to sleep in Fredericksburgh!!

“Tough to get on to Route US 1. Outside stairs wewre a problem for me.”

Since no first floor rooms available, my arthritic knees took a beating. Overall the motel was nice and clean and friendly staff. Biggest problem was location. With only egress from parking lot right onto US 1, getting out was a pain ujnless some good citizen stopped to let you out -- occurred when light below turned Red. Traffic moves at 45 mph at that spot. And It's a busy highway. Other than that and olnce I got used to that, everything went well and enjoyed our stay.

“Good Value, Very Helpful staff”

For the price, it is excellent value. For what it is, it's a standard American motel; big room, nothing special. The wireless internet was interesting (had to go out onto the landing to connect, then it would work fine in the room :-). However, the family who run it are extremely friendly and helpful and that makes all the difference for me.

“Iffy”

The lobby is so small on 2 people can stand in there at one time. They also will not clean your rooms for you if you stay for more than one night like I did. They told me that they wouldn't clean anything except take the trash. Nice big room though and it was very clean!

“Stay at Super 8 in Fredricksburg VA”

The outside appearance of the hotel was dirty and dingy. But the room was clean and adequately furnished. We made this reservation because it was the least expensive hotel in the community, so we were not expecting much. Overall, we got our money's worth for a short overnight stay. But it is not a place we would want to stay again.

The room was clean. The bed spread had a hole. The box spring had a hole in the side material. The "army blanket" made me itch. The pillows were terrible. Other motels in the area were advertizing lower rates.

The sink stopped up after turning it on for less than a couple minutes and NEVER drained! Time to remodel I would say, Linens look old and dated as does the rest of the room!

“Just subaverage or typical Super 8 inn”

The location of hotel is not good, and maintenance is average below. May need to avoid any Super 8 that I experienced several other super 8: drain problem in Bath Tub
