“good value, strategic location”
We chose this hotel for proximity to Reagan Airport and reasonable price; totally satisfied on both counts. Bonus was the location is near Alexandria Old Town, a charming historic quarter we had a great time exploring. I'd stay here for a tourist visit to Washington next time. It's handy to the metro and way cheaper than DC and Alexandia Old Town is a great home territory. The hotel was fine; I would guess they are a few years from a major reno and are competing on price in the meantime. Everything is clean and totally functional, just a bit worn looking. Staff was friendly and efficient.
“Great Value!”
Booked an internet rate through Expedia and couldn't have been more pleased. Check in was seemless and the room was ready early. Keep in mind that you aren't staying in a $200+ room, and may have to walk 15 minutes to the heart of Old Town. Only down side was the $20.00 a night parking fee.
“Want to go back”
This hotel is perfect location to Olde Town. Underground parking was the best and it was secure. Cant wait until i go back home again

“Great location, good value”
My second stay here. Perfect walking location for Old Town visitors, close to bike/run path. Rooms are a great size. Nice hotel amenities. Other than the air in the room being extremely dry (makes for a tough night's sleep), I would definitely stay here again.
“Posible back soon”
was good just the parking was too expensive but we make a deal and was ok. I suggest to show price of parking
“Defiantly will stay again”
Great room. Great location
“Thumbs up!”
It was the perfect hotel for a short weekend to explore Old Town Alexandria...a 15 minute walk from King Street and the water front ( $7 cab ride if you are wearing heels, the uneven bricks are not always forgiving.) But the Sheraton does offer a free shuttle as well. The hotel was clean, and the great deal I got on Expedia for a king bedroom sweet was awesome! The only downfall is since you can't park anywhere in Old town for more than 2 hours you are forced to use the hotels garage..which was $22 a night! But other than that I was more than happy.
“A nice hotel”
I was impressed by the rooms in the hotel. The parking with a bit expensive ($22/night), but the location is right in Old Town Alexandria.
“solid 3 star, nothing more”
this hotel is convenient to the heart of old town without the massive price tag that goes along with the hotels right in the middle of town. the bed was very conformable, room was clean, all the basics were accounted for. however, the suite (king room, plus living room with pull out bed, and separate bathroom) was TINY. i have stayed in other sheraton suites and this was easily 60% of the size. not sure if this was same as other rooms or we got the "discount rate room". once the couch was pulled out there was literally not enough floor space to put the coffee table without blocking a door or being able to get out of the bed. we had to jam it next to another table and partially block the front door. in addition, the service, while acceptable, but nowhere near the "10" rating the hotel posters wish you to have. i called the night before to advise of a late check in and asked if it would be possible for them to pull out and prep the sofa bed so i could easily move my sleeping 2.5 year old from car to bed (after 5 hour drive). the staff member told me that the bed was "already made, you just have to put it out". when i got in my room at 11.30pm i pulled out the bed to discover the bottom sheet was on it, but i had to unfold/make up the top sheet and quilt and retrieve pillows out of a plastic cover in a closet from the master room. a small thing, but late night with a toddler and it was a big customer service fail for me.
