“Best Hotel for the price I paid”

Great location from IAD airport and good service for the price. I am very immpressed over all.

“Nothing great/Nothing awful”

We were just staying here for one night on our way back from London. It's close to the airport, they offer a free shuttle but make arrangements before you fly. There is a restaurant inside the hotel but not much around the area, at least walking wise. Apparently there are some restaurants about 5-10 min drive. There is a Hyatt in the same parking lot but I'm not sure what they offer. We only had room service, and that was OK, nothing great. The rooms are nice, spacious and comfortable beds. All in all it's a nice place.

“Sheraton Herndon Dulles Airport Hotel”

Both rooms I have lived in had very strong chemical smell.

Area recommendations
Next door Hyatt. The rating is lower but strangly the comfort is better.

“Not Bad at all”

Very nice hotel for the money BUT they do nickel and dime you for everything. You pay for your internet or use the terminals downstairs for free. Meal are expensive. Breakfst buffet ws $14 PP. Thats pricey to me for breakfast. Room service was more. Keep in mind this hotel is geared toward folks waiting for a connecting flight. Since we drove in, we could eat at other places in the area. And there is no fridge in room. Must req at ck-in. Good Luck with that. Aside from that it was a great hotel and i would go back again

“Beautiful Hotel”

We had booked two rooms for a graduation celebration & they were perfect!! The beds were extremely comfortable & the pillows were plentiful & ranged in softness I liked the softer ones : ) My only complaint was one not controlled by the hotel, but user beware of the dreaded toll-road. Let me just say GPS/Navigation systems are not always right. It cost us $12.75 in tolls for one wrong turn. There are many new buildings in the area & even the Hotel address would not register in our navigation system, so we called ahead for an alternate address. Just be prepared to be your own navigator until this issue is resolved.

“Beware of free breakfast”

Sheraton had no clue that we were entitled to freebreakfast. They said expedia has that info, so they wanted to see the actual printout from me which said "Free breakfast". I thought this was ridiculous. Even after showing them the email the lady at the reception gave me only 1 voucher instead of 2 for me and my wife. The waiter at the restaurant was kind enough to get me another one. Rooms were very good and clean. The breakfast was superb. Try the California omlette, yummy !!
