“Not Impressed”

Noisy neighbors and hallway and bad bed equals little sleep and sore back. Had to get a massage to get the kinks out.

“Highly Recommend this Location”

Great place to stay to visit D.C. Extremely convenient for D.C. with the King St metro station an easy 2 block walk from hotel. Very pleasant staff, clean rooms, and good breakfast every morning. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit the capital and have a nice quiet location to retreat to in the evenings.

Getting around
The metro is the most efficient and affordable way to get from hotel, airport, and all the sites. Save your cab fare and get on the metro.

“Highly recommend”

Great place to stay. Staff was very accommodating with any request we had and the rooms were sparkling clean. We had condos and had maid service every day, they even washed the coffee cups we had rinsed out. Location to the Metro for transport into the DC area was very convienent. Breakfast every morning, dinner with wine or beer, four nights a week. Would recommend this place to anyone traveling to DC whether on business or pleasure.

“The Perfect Place - Better than Home”

We choose this condo for its location; two blocks from the metro for our visit to Washington, DC. Shuttle service to the Metro was offered but the walk was short and in a pleasant neighborhood. The rooms were a pleasant surprise - spacious, bedding luxuious, great TV, and a full included breakfast 7-days a week. Maid service is included each day and the sheets changed twice a week. (In other condo we've stayed in there was no maid service.) The maid even ran the (almost empty) dishwasher! Dinner is included, with beer or wine, Monday - Thursday. We didn't expect this to "do" for dinner but it was wonderful and we ate there each night it was offered. The meals are light but it is all one cares to eat. Service was excellent and the staff friendly. It's the little things that we noticed, like paper in the printer in the business center and coffee for the coffee maker refilled each day. Once I called because a light didn't work and it was fixed promptly. Shopping for food could have been better. The closest store was pretty much gourmet, vegan, and organic so it was pricey and not a great selection. We had to go to CVS just to buy salt and pepper! They do have a good deli. Our party occupied one one-bedroom unit and one two-bedroom unit. Both were excellent. I would highly recommend the Residence Inn.

King Steet is a happening place and a complimentary trolley runs this route frequently. Good resturants.

“Excellent hotel near the blue line metro.”

This hotel should be a model hotel for other hotels. Excellent staff... Clean... Neat... Friendly environment... Walking distance to the DC metro. I WILL stay here again on future vacations.

“Residence Inn , Alexandria, VA”

I loved the evening buffet meal service offered in addition to but similar to a continental breakfast service. This proved to be very help full for those with small children that only want a few ounces of food and not a full course dinner. It was fast , good food and a major cost savings.

“Terrific Experience!!”

Wonderful hotel, easily accessible location to both the metro and King St. trolley. Delightful complimentary breakfast. Pleasant and friendly hotel staff. Affordable parking. Would recommend to all.
