great location, within short walking distance to Metro to access DC, easy walking into Old Town Alexandria. Very friendly staff, clean room and public areas, secure parking. Breakfast was OK.

Ok. To start I am a Super Freak when it comes to Cleanliness in a hotel. The Residence Inn in Old Town Alexandria lived up to my expectations and then some! We live about 30 miles away and didn't want to drive home after spending saint Patrick's day having a few drinks In DC and Alexandria. We had a kitchenette and separate living room from our one bedroom King suite. It had everything we needed, it was clean, comfortable Bed and an awesome complimentary breakfast in the morning. Which we appreciated after being out late on St. Party's Day. The staff was super nice and on top of everything. Great exercise room and nice pool. Easy and fast check in and check out. Only a block away from the Metro Rail and/ or King Street where you will find all the restaurants and shopping. This was an excellent value for Old Town Alexandria! (Parking does cost 18.00 per day.)

Convenient to the Metro, Nice breakfast buffet, clean, quiet, comfortable room, affordable price. Only surprise was the $18/ day parking fee, but still worth it.

The stay was pleasant and refreshing. The hotel could have been a little bigger but it is enough to make the stay enriching although the prices are a little high.

Wonderful hotel, easily accessible location to both the metro and King St. trolley. Delightful complimentary breakfast. Pleasant and friendly hotel staff. Affordable parking. Would recommend to all.

The Residence Inn Marriott/Alexandria, VA was truly wonderful.....a real WOW!!!! The hotel staff were always professional, courteous and friendly and very accommodating. The hotel was clean, our room was terrific.......roomy/cozy/comfortable and clean! The daily complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious AND complimentary light dinners Mon-Thu as well were totally unexpected and amazing to have a hotel do something like that! Well worth the money........in a wonderful area........easy access to the airport and DC and their complimentary bus to/from Metro and local town attractions was super! “WILL stay there again!”

We travel quite a bit and this is one of the nicest hotels for the price that we've found. The complimentary breakfast is delicious--FRESH fruit, waffles, oatmeal, etc. The room was sparkly clean and modern and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. The Metro is an easy 5- minute walk, and there's plenty to do within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Old City which we decided not to use because it looked pretty crowded. Plan to pay $18/day for parking.
