For the price, what did I expect?

Pros: cheap.
Cons: include shampoo and conditioner
Location: not far from everything
Not a horrible place, if you don't have high expectations. No conditioner or shampoo provided. 3 of the rooms on the floor had broken windows and where boarded up... that was a little creepy.

Look elsewhere for clean sheets

Pros: The price
Cons: House keeping service
Location: close to 95 but no noteworthy attractions
The sheets were dirty, literally dirty, and the floor looked like the last tenants worked for a rodeo or mud farm. Twice during the week long stay the police were called to the motel for one reason or another. If I hadn't already paid for the full week I would have gone elsewhere. IT was a cheap price but there was a reason for that.

Pros: staff was nice
Cons: everything!!!...with a bulldozer...the health department would have a field day here !
Location: you can walk to places to eat nearby, if none of the ghetto dwellers nearby mug you !
Inrenet, phone and ice machine all broken...bathroom looked as if under construction....light fixtures towel holder and walls all had bee through brawls...no wake up call on last morning there...but there was a friend in bathroom cink to join me for coffee ( which I had to supply as well as coffee maker )...a cockroach !!!!

Got to hotel and no room available

Hotel was sold out, our reservation was not honored. We were sent to another hotel 40 minutes away and given yet another confirmation number and when we arrived no rooms were available. Traveling with a 6 year old and we ended up having to stay in our car that night. Worst experience ever will not book.with expedia or deal with Motel 6 ever again.

Cons: Clean a little more thoroughly. Get new pillows.
The room appeared and smelled clean initially, but that was not the case upon closer inspection. The sink did not look as if it had been cleaned since the previous person had left. There were marks on the sheets and holes in the comforter. The pillows were extremely lumpy.

Pros: The low price.
Cons: The overall experience.
Location: The location is right near Central Park in Fredericksburg, as well as many many different places to dine (both casual and formal).
I reserved a queen bed (which was supposedly available online) but when I checked in, they only had rooms with two double beds. This wasn't a big deal, but it was disappointing. The atmosphere was anything but comforting. People were loud and very unsettling. The rooms weren't as clean as they could have been. I felt very uncomfortable lying on the bed; the only way I got the little bit of sleep I ended up getting was by sleeping in a hoodie, long pants and socks. The overall building wasn't very kept up. The only staff member I had contact with was nice, but worked slow on getting my room. It would have been nice if someone had told me about my room change. I was very disappointed with the experience despite the low price. There should still be a sense of pride in one's business. I most definitely will not be returning.

Customer service is really bad by the front desk staff. Twice I have reservations to stay in a room that I previously stayed in, and was when promised to get that room. When I checked in I was forced to take another room or was told to take my business else where by a man on duty tonight 12/26/13. One room the toilet over flowed. I will be in this area two more weeks, but tomorrow I will find another hotel. This man is very rude to me.

I arrived at the hotel at 11:35pm after fighting I95 traffic for 6+ hours. Check-in was quick but the sweet man seemed to speak little English. My room was on the 2nd floor at the rear of the hotel. After carrying my suitcase up the outside staircase in the rain & wind, I slid the key & the door latch would not open even though the light turned green. After numerous attempts I called the desk from my cell. The man told me to come back to the office. After walking though the downpour with my suitcase in tow, I had to wait 10 minutes as he checked in another customer. He then gave me another room on the other side of the hotel and chuckled when I explained to him the problem with the door. He said, "sometimes they stick.....". That sucker felt more like the deadbolt was latched. So feeling like a stupid woman, I smiled & walked to my new room. When I opened the door, heat poured out of the door....it was 93° in there. Well I did dry off quickly. Then I went to use the toilet, and the cover was sitting on the seat & no water was in it. The handle of the shower/tub was broken making it nearly impossible to regulate the temp when it finally came on. The rug looked like powder was spilled on it in 2 places. I was so exhausted I just layed down in my clothes & stayed in that room. The hotel was full & I wasnt in any shape to drive.
