“PALOMAR ARLINGTON”
Hotel one of the best we have stayed in. We got an upgrade as we were staying a week. Room huge and very comfortable. Staff excellent. We did not eat in hotel as quite pricey but there are a few places nearby for breakfast.

The hotel room was very quiet and comfortable. There was a beautiful view of the Potomac River and Georgetown. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was great. The hotel is well situated just round the corner from a Metro station. My 16 year old and 11 year old were able to share the large Queen size beds and there was ample room for all of us
“Great Location - would go back”
The hotel was in the business district but only a 10 minute easy walk to Georgetown over the Potomac River with the Washington Monument in the distance. You will find lots of good shops restaurants, Clyde's had a great Sunday Brunch. Hotel room large, very clean, comfy bed. Restaurant & terrace with views to river, good food. Friendly and informative staff who let us leave luggage in between stays when we went to the mountains for the weekend.
“good hotel - good value for money”
The hotel was in a good position in that it is a 5 minute walk to the metro blue line which takes you right into the heart of Washington DC within a few stops. One stop to Arlington cemetry takes you to the tourmobile pick up point to do the tour of the Washington sights. initally there seemed few local restaurants but a 10 minute walk over the bridge to Georgetown will find u with some great restaurants and shops. Hotel was nice and clean and modern. Free wine 5 -6pm was nice

“Great location”
Ideal hotel for touists close to central DC. 200m from metro stop which is very cheap to use. A local bus service takes you over to Georgetown for $1. Lovely rooms which housekeeping keep very nice during the day. Would be nice to have a second easy chair in the room and there was room for one, certainly in our room. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is great quality and not too expensive. Free tea/coffee in the lobby between 6-9am. Only disappointment is that the bar closes during the afternoon and the Restuarant is closed at the weekends. Also if they have a large function they close the restaurant, but room service is still available. However it is not clear if the room service or normal prices are charged. The terrace outside the restaurant is shared with the neighbouring office block which is a bit strange as one day when we were sitting outside the office workers were there having an ice cream party with loud music!!

Very convenient location for access to George town, Rosslyn metro and Washington attractions. Reasonably priced and secure car parking. (particularly weekend rate). Lovely welcoming wine reception. Hotel staff were very helpful.

the staff could not do enough for you to ensure that you enjoyed your stay. the hotel is in a great location - round the corner from the metro and a short walk across the key bridge to Georgetown.
“Great Value for Money”
This building is part hotel and part residences, so you check in on the fourth floor. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean wiht lots of amenities. Anything left behind could be obtained from the desk for your stay - eg fan or hair straighteners. It was only a short walk over the bridge to Georgetown, a slightly longer (but beautiful) riverside walk to The National Mall. Parking is expensive, but there is free parking at weekends and evenings on t road. We enjoyed breakfast at the cafe over the road, and there are several other places to eat nearby. Do take the short walk to Arlington Cemetary over the Freedom Park skywalk. We would highly recommend this hotel.
