“Acceptable”

It's a Holiday Inn. The walls were so thin that I could hear every word spoken by the elderly couple next door, not to mention their constantly-blaring TV. Luckily the heater fan is deafening so I was able to drown them out with it while I slept. Every interaction I had with hotel staff with courteous, quick, and helpful. The room and the bed were pretty comfortable. The bathtub was either discolored or legitimately grimy. The carpet in the room was less clean in some areas than in others. Near the Metro.

“Good mid price choice”

Clean rooms, free coffee to Priority members, free internet and only a short walk to the Metro. $10 daily parking. I found this one of the bargain places to stay in the "District" compared to some others.

“Very convenient, but needs better mattresses”

The location is excellent just 10 mins away from the White House. The breakfast was good. But this hotel seriously needs better mattresses for the beds, my back was aching when I woke up in the morning.

“Great Hotel, Perfect Location”

I stayed at the Holiday Inn @ Ballston with my family. Everything was great. We were able to check in before noon; clean and comfortable room; metro station at a walking distance; good restaurants around the hotel, etc.

“It's an ok place”

The hotel is in a convenient (for example, for visits to the NSF) location, close to the subway. The room was clean, although a bit small-ish, and with a bit too noisy AC unit. I had a dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and it was very good. I felt that the price was a bit too high for the amenities offered, so next time I will try Comfort Inn, which is a little bit further away, but considerably cheaper and (from what I heard) not much different.

“Repeat visitor”

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting family in Arlington. We were always completely satisfied. The rooms have been clean, the hotel staff is very pleasant, and everything works. There are free computers with Internet access in the lobby, and free Internet in the rooms. There is a running/biking/walking trail a few hundred feet from the hotel, that connects with an extensive network of trails. It is walking distance from a Metro stop and from a large indoor shopping mall. There is free outdoor parking behind the hotel on weekends.
