“Nice hotel - beware surcharges for parking and room service”

Newer hotel near the business end of King Street. Very convenient to the Metro station, but a fair walk to most shops and restaurants. Essentially on the far side of King Street from the marina. Rooms were a good size, clean and very comfortable. The fitness room is above average (including both dumbell free weights and a cross-cable machine). The pool is not suitable for splashing about with the kids. It is indoors and really intended for swimming laps. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but the quality of the food and service there were abysmal. Luckily, King Street offers many excellent restaurants and cafes. Finally - watch the parking surcharge and the room service fees. Both are high and mandatory if you use the service.
