“Excellent hotel, excellent location”

We had an excellent 5-night stay while playing tourist in Washington DC. Front desk people are very helpful with directions and recommendations. Free wi-fi works well. The free breakfast is surprisingly ample, with different hot dishes each day. Coffee, fruit and cookies available in the afternoon when you get back too. The location just a block from King St. metro lets you get anywhere in DC in a short time and means you don't need a rental car. We were pleased with the whole stay.

“Great place for the money”

Had a good experience. Parking is beneath the hotel and accessable by the hotel elevator - nice! Close to the metro station and walking distance to plenty of good restaurants. Hotel was clean and comfortable and, as always, the breakfast is a wonderful convenience.

“Great Place to Stay”

The Hampton is in a great location, couple of blocks from the Metro station and walking distance from the linear parks along the Potomac. You have easy access via the Metro to everything in DC and to Ronald Reagan Airport. It is clean and comfortable, and the staff is courteous and efficient. King Street is packed with interesting shops and outstanding places to eat. This is a great place to stay, I would definitely go back.

“Totally Great Place!”

We rate this place much higher than its 2 1/2 stars--excellent, friendly service from all areas, different, excellent breakfast options daily, and, of course, location, location, location. It was so close to the King Street Metro station as well as to a huge variety of restaurants and shops in addition to being a very safe location. The pool was another bonus.

We were very pleased with the Hampton Inn. The staff was courteous and friendly, the rooms simple and comfortable, the complementary breakfast was well done, and the location was very convenient to the DC Metro, as well as Old Town sites and dining.

“Great hotel, amazing neighborhood”

The hotel was easy to find, easy to check into, and lovely to stay at. Underground parking was convenient and reasonably priced. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet. Old Town is wonderful. The hotel is well-located on King Street and it's an easy walk to a lot of amazing restaurants, book stores, antique stores, and a wonderful yarn store (fibre space on Fayette Street). I had a wonderful trip and wish I could have stayed longer.

This hotel is one block from King street Metro station and just two stops from Reagan National Airport. You can see everything in Washington and at night you can enjoy everything in Alexandria. There lots of restaurant, bars and retail shopping. Nightly ghost tours of the town with a little bit of history.
